Works like magic!!!
BEST SCAR CREAM EVER!!!!!!Buy it! You can't tell that I had parathyroid surgery at all! It's even helping a very long incision on my abdomen where I had my gallbladder removed and then through the same incision a year later hernia surgery. I literally tell everyone to buy this!!

Recommended by my physician
Prior to my surgery, the physician recommended I purchase Mederma to help with the wound and scarring. I began using it as soon as the bandages were removed and the healing is going well, and the scarring is barely visible. I will continue to use for a while; it's been about a month since the surgery. It's easy to use. The main drawback is the odor, but I'm happy to contend with that for a lifetime of better-looking skin around the surgical site. I'm 100% satisfied with the results so far.

You NEED this is if you have a new scar and go outside
This is GREAT sunscreen to cover your scar, such as on your face or arms where the sunlight will be on it. You know you are supposed to keep your new scar out of the sun and this does that while treating it with the scar cream. It is white but absorbs really well and will disappear in a few minutes, does not leave anything to see except a slight shiny area but nobody will notice that. You might want to get the larger tube as you will use a lot of it. And yes it works, I have seen great results on my forehead scar in 2 months using this and the regular Mederma. But there is a difference!!! The regular Mederma (without sunscreen) dries to a crusty shiny hard surface. It also flakes off easily. I am sure it is working but you do see and feel the regular Mederma. NOT this one with the sunscreen, it is a different formula and is MUCH more comfortable on the skin and concealed.

Really works but be consistent!
So I've used the scar gel in the past when I had a dog bite me all over my face. Unfortunately I have no pictures from that time to show actual progress photos. But it worked wonderfully! My only complaint about the gel was that it smelled so strongly of onions being right on top of my face and it peels under makeup (for me anyways).I understand that's a key ingredient so I bought the spf variant for a different injury hoping for a little less scent and it works SO WELL. Recently I and someone else had some injuries that needed scar treatment. We ran through the entire tube pretty quickly as we were sharing so I'm back on amazon to order another. My advice for you is be on top of actually applying regularly. When applied once a day I don't see results nearly as quickly. My current routine is spf cream in the morning and the gel at night. I've even tried using it on dark spots from acne and I can see it lightning pretty quick without the irritation of using an AHA or BHA toner.

Great quality but very small size
This is a very moister song creamWith SPF.. I didn’t not buy it for scar care. I use it as my SPF when traveling because the tube is so small. It is not greasy and kind of has a matte/natural finish and no white cast because the SPF is chemical not physical. Wish it came in a larger size I would use it as a daily sunscreen when home!

Great Sunscreen!! I saw a good difference in my acne scarring once I started using this long with their other scar cream, it has a great texture and you don't need a lot. 10/10
