i loved this bedding for my gecko it was great i do highly recommend it however the only reason i rated it 4 stars is it is very pricy in my opinion

This looks great as a top layer in my beardies tank. My tank is black and this really looks the part, as well as (most importantly) being an ideal substrate and he loves to dig around in it to finf the perfect sleeping spot when his lights go out.The bigger chunks don't break apart at all so it still looks great even after thoroughly cleaning out. Maybe slightly pricier than others but great quality and will last

Received this within the expected delivery time and it was exactly what i wanted. However the packaging was damaged and the substrate was leaking out of the bottom of the box when it arrived.

I love the 'Stone Desert' substrate by Exo Terra! It looks natural as a base substrate, you can add a little big of soil/coco fibre to make it look even more real.When wet, it moulds like clay however it does not look the most realistic so I prefer to use it as a base substrate.You get different sized bits of substrate so most will look like sand with a good amount of boulders in side, it looks like the actual substrate from the Sonoran Desert.

I used this in a darker themed desert setup. It's not dark black, reminds me more of crushed up oreo cookies.
