I’m comparing to suavecito and knockout.It smells great easy to use. When I used the pomade makes the hair look great, but doesn’t have a hold at all. It has a oil feel to it with the ingredients which has a shine. The lid of the container is crap. Would be great if the lid was a metal or strong plastic cause my lid showed up partially broken, but it’s still useable. If your looking for a hold I would recommend suavecito.

My husband is in the army and was so excited to find a natural product that wouldn't damage his hair over time like synthetic hair gels would. It smells good but ultimately is unusable since it has no strength -- basically just a slick oil look. Unfortunate :(

Stop using products that dry your hair and scalp. This is the best alternative to hair gel I have every used. I am cursed with dry and flaky scalp but have managed to control it using good shampoo, conditioner, and this product. Hair doesn't harden either but stays firm yet soft.

I got this for my fiancé as I wanted to find a natural hair product for him. I wanted to like this as the ingredients looked promising, but this product was a bust. The smell was so overpowering that I developed a splitting headache and felt ill, and it made my fiancé’s hair look greasy. After three washes the smell and grease still were not out of his hair. Hate to leave a negative review on a small business page but this was a miss.

So I’ll give it a 5 cause there is nothing wrong with this product, though I wish it was larger. The hold isn’t strong to do much of anything for my hair. But it’s does help soften it up and make it a little more cooperative especially after a shower and my hair is dry. Nice that it’s a straightforward product with ingredients. Will be trying matte next.
