G.I. Joe Pursuit of Cobra Cobra Trooper (The Enemy)

Kudos to Hasbro for retooling & bringing this basic Cobra army builder figure up to modern times! For anybody who grew up with the "Sunbow" Gi Joe cartoons & toys from the 1980s; remembers this Cobra soldier! This POC Cobra "the Enemy" Trooper still dawns his classic all blue uniform with the classic red Cobra logo on the chest (..from the "Sunbow" era) even with his modern update! What do you get with this figure? -You get: an automatic rifle, two pistols w/ silencers that are removeable & a knife! His helmet & harness jacket (..or whatever it is called) is removeable also! My goal is to have twenty of this figure & fifteen of the POC Shock Troopers; two supremely awesome Cobra army building figures! Just think Hasbro had the Cobra Officer prototype (..the same mold as the POC Cobra Trooper but with his signature officer emblem on his helmet & silver Cobra emblem on his chest instead of the normal red one) at the Joecon 2012 event! -If you could have seen some of the unproduced figures they had; you would had been scratching your head (..Kwinn, a modernized: Flint, Lady Jaye, Zartan, Clutch, Hit & Run, Shipwreck, Beachhead, Cobra Eel, Heavy Ally Viper, H.I.S.S tank driver, Data Viper, Cobra Snow Serpent, Cobra Stinger Driver, Cobra Tele-Viper, a bunch of different Zombie figures, many Renegades Gi Joe figures, fully articulated Gi Joe Retaliation figures and a bunch cool vehicles)! Hasbro as whole has to get back to the whole "Pursuit of Cobra" quality of figures! The whole POC line including this figure was nicely done! I rambled a little off the subject but get this figure; he is fully articulated, has a nice sculpt, comes with many accessories including a barbed wire for dioramas! If I purchased more than one of this figure; that should tell you what I think of figure alone! I give a solid 5 out 5 stars for this figure!

This Cobra trooper is probably the best Cobra Trooper of the modern GI Joe era (2007-present). It still contains characteristics of the original Cobra Trooper from the 80's. It is a much darker blue so it goes very well with the detailed Pursuit of Cobra and 30th line. It comes with enough accessories (bazooka, ak-47, knives, pistol and silencer) and you can pose the figure very well. His leg holster can hold the pistol and silencer. It uses the v54 snake eyes legs afterall, a big plus. I would recommend this trooper to add to your joeverse. One drawback from the one I got from Amazon is that I got the Canadian package instead. The file card is a folded piece of paper and the card art in the back is nonexistent due to thr multiple languages printed on the back. However, if you plan on opening this, you will have a great display figure. Go out and get one! Note the 30th anniversary packaged trooper doesnt come with the barb wire accessory but the figures are identical.

Great army builder if you can find them! I just wish that whoever was responsible for painting the eyes on these would try a little harder to not make some of them derpy.
