Premium Steel Diaper Waste Pail with Air Tight Lid and Lock, Lavender

I would have rated this product to be 5 stars, as it does keep odor in; but 9 months upon having it the plastic lid broke off the hinges!!! I figured by paying for a more expensive pail, Id get something that would last longer than 9 months. My sister has a cheapy diaper genie and is still functional after 2 years! It doesnt keep in odor as well but its not broken..

We have had the Bubula for about 3 weeks now and have loved it, but the top lid broke this evening with normal use. It has been great with keeping smells locked inside, but I didn't expect a $90 diaper pail to break after 3 weeks of normal use. I was frustrated thinking I didn't even know how it could have gotten broken, but now I'm reading reviews about units that were defective and that they've improved the pieces. It's unfortunate that so many models were sent out with the faulty pieces.EDITED TO ADD: I went through the steps to be sent a new one and send the old one back. When the new one arrived, before even taking it all the way out of the box, I noticed that the top lid does not close and stay shut. We are now going to try and ship both back. I was REALLY hoping that the issue had been fixed so that we could continue using this product. In order to get the lid to shut on the new order, you feel like you have to break the lid. Simply pushing the lid down doesn't do anything and it just pops right back up.

Bought from warehouse deals, box was opened so was discounted, lid was good on diaper pail, several small dents in side, but will be good. I will be using this for cloth diapers and inserted washable liner, metal clip seems to hold well in place, looks like it should work good.

Best Baby product we have bought so far. Hello people can use any trash bag, its free just by this added savings. On top of the value part, its all steel, large ,tall and has a smell barrier. All Dad's out there, this is greatest product since slice bread. If your the one that has to take the diapers to the garbage outside, trust me you want the Bubula.

I would love to write a positive review because I think the concept of this diaper pail is great and it definitely seals the odors of the diapers but I now am in the process of returning my 3rd Bubala diaper pail due to defective parts. I received this as a gift and was so excited because I have the Ubbi for my other daughter and it is not as great as I thought it would be. The first one I received was broken even before I used it. The plastic clip was already off the pail so the latch wouldn't stay closed. I returned it and was sent a replacement by Amazon. I opened this one and used it for a few days then the metal door that opens and closes stopped working. I called Amazon again and after a 2 hour phone conversation of them trying to figure out how to replace the item without notifying the sender of the gift, they were going to issue me a credit but instead for some reason I received another new Bubula pail. I used this one for 4 days and again the plastic clip on the lid snapped off. I am not sure what is going on and I really want to like this diaper pail because it looks super cool and as I mentioned contains the odors so my baby's nursery does not smell as does my other daughter's. I would love to give a positive review but it's hard for me to do when I've received 3 defective products. Maybe it's just this batch of diaper pails. I tried looking up the # of Bubala customer service to reach out to them directly but can't seem to find it.

This diaper pail is great! I use PlanetWise pail liners and cloth diapers and it fits about 20 Bumgenius diapers in it. This stays in our bedroom and there is no odors at all. Their customer service is also great. I had issues with the lid when it arrived and they sent me out a new one.

I received a unit as part of a group study of the diaper pail. I was told only condition was that I must post an honest review of the product good or bad. So here it goes:First impressions the pail is very sleek and modern looking. I received the grey color, which was perfect color. Matched my nursery! Then I noticed the height, finally someone got it! No more bending way down, this unit is perfect height. I have the other guys unit too and loved it for my first child, but it's just way too short. Bubula is just perfect for me and I am 5ft 4" tall.Part of the study was not changing the bag for 7 days, which I thought would be gross. I did do it, and I was amazed NO SMELL. It's air tight as advertised! Because I can use any large kitchen bag, in those 7 days the bag didn't need to be changed. It's was only half full when I changed it. That also means saving $$$, as I don't have to buy those expensive replacement bags.I give Bubula 5 stars, it's a great product and works as advertised! Plus it looks great too!

This beautiful diaper pail is amazing at containing the stink. Additionally, it is beautiful and has more capacity than most others out there. The steel pail has a relatively sophisticated design with the trap door that pulls back upon pressing down the opposite "bombs away" button. With that being said, I used my bubula for 10 months before the "release platform" ceased to spring back into place, essentially eliminating the "airtight seal" feature that made this product unique and relatively pricey. I contacted the headquarters, explaining my bubula's situation. Within minutes, I was well on my way to receiving a new functional part, and shipping/ tracking number was in my inbox within hours!!! Reliable customer service is so rare these days and GREATLY APPRECIATED. While good devices sometimes have mishaps, great customer service can always make up for it in my book. 5 stars for this beautiful product containing stink like none other, and 5 stars for customer service in the event that the great product has a mishap :) kudos to the customer service team. Makes the price of this pail totally worth it. Highly recommended. BTW, i load up this pail over the course of 7 days and empty it out on garbage day without any out-of-capacity nor stink problems. Regular garbage bags work totally fine.
