TekRefurbs Exceeds all expectations
It's rare when you do business with an outfit and they exceed all expectation but that's exactly what I experienced after I bought a PC from TekRefurbs. Not only was the machine spotless and runs great but when I realized the optical drive was read-only (honestly thought RO drives were obsolete) I called their Tech Support hoping to purchase a RW from them. Talked to Bob who immediately offered to send out a DVD-RW drive at no cost to me. Now that's class and a business that I'll promote to any and all who'll listen. Again Thanks Bob,

Great Deal, Lightning Fast PC!
Just set up the PC and I am super happy with this purchase so far. My old computer was getting bogged down with the graphics work I was doing, and the same work is barely putting a dent in this computer. I did buy the protection plan just in case because of the reviews and I have all my files sync'd to the cloud as well. Hopefully it lasts. I also love how much smaller this PC is compared to my old one. It fits on my desk right next to my monitor. Will update review if I have any issues down the road.Computer was wrapped and the box was sealed with tape that said it was refurbished by a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher. No problems with setting up Windows or installing any software thus far. It was nice that the computer comes with bluetooth and wifi dongles included. Wi-fi dongle seems to be 2.4ghz only (I can't see my 5.0ghz networks) but I'll be connecting through a cable anyway so that's not a huge deal to me. The computer does come with a DVDRW drive. The 3.0 ports are marked as SS ports which some may not realize that's what that means, but there are a bunch of USB ports which is nice! I do use an old PS2 keyboard so it was great that port is included as well. It does have a VGA port which I'm currently using as my old computer didn't have HDMI ports, but since it does have two HDMI ports on the back I'll be switching over to using one of those. It does have built in speakers if you don't want to connect your own. When I run the PC health check it does state that the computer does not meet Windows 11 system requirements. Not a problem for me but something to keep in mind. The two errors were "TPM 2.0 must be supported and enabled on this PC" and "The processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11". -Jen

Worked well for 15 months but Kingfast hard drive is failing
Bought this machine for home use. It mostly worked well, but about 15 months in, the SSD started failing during boot. Had to run diagnostic checks every time. This seems to be a known issue with Kingfast SSDs that this machine is shipped with. Had to spend close to $100 to buy a new 2Tb SSD (Crucial) and a SSD cloning dock (Wavelink) to prevent loss of data.

It appears they use cheap parts when refurbishing
I bought a refurbished Dell computer from them. The warrantee was for 90 days. Before the warrantee expired, the computer would no longer boot. I gave the computer to my local computer repair store to see if they could fix it. I was told that the hard disk had crashed and that I needed a new hard disk. They also commented that it was not a high quality disk that was delivered in the computer.I needed the computer urgently so I told them to replace the disk and copy whatever data they could to the new disk. When I got it back, I had a new disk, with a new Windows install, my data, but none of my programs. It took me 2 days to reinstall and reconfigure everything.I contacted CNB Computers and asked them to reimburse me for the cost of the new disk. I was not asking for the labor the computer repair shop charged me or for my lost time and ability to use the computer when I really needed it, only the cost of the disk that I need to have replaced. They would not pay me anything, only offering to send me a new disk. Well, that wouldn't do me any good. I had new disk, and I didn't want to have to rebuild the system again, so their offer was of no value.I suspect that the whole problem was that they used a cheap disk when they refurbished the system. I would have been appeased with any show of good faith standing behind their product, but that did not happen. It appears that they use poor quality parts and do not stand behind the results of them using poor quality parts.

Super fast and excellent Tech Support
Love this computer it was the 1st time I have ever bought a refurbished computer. It's definitely worth the money. It ran real nice it's super fas. I needed some help with setting up because It wasn't reading My external hard drives so I called Tech Support. They were awesome it was not the computer's problem it was my hub that I had the hard drive's plugged into it did not have enough power. They were very kind and patient working with me when we tried to figure it out out but once I connected a new hub that had more power Then the external hard drives hard drives worked fine. I had been using a computer that was 9 years old and super slow and super slow it's amazing how fast this computer is instead of there is instead of minutes for the computer to boot up it's just seconds. I've now had the computer over 2 months and no issues definitely worth the money. And the Tech Support is awesome they help me set up the computer and get everything running perfect.
