It works!
I don’t really know how or why something so simple is so helpful for my back pain, but it really works. I see a lot of reviewers say this is great for short people which is great, but I’m 5’11” and have had great results. It does wonders for correcting my posture, which is especially important for tall people in a world that was made for much shorter people! So much less back and leg pain after an 8+ hour work day. I usually use this with slippers or socks but on the occasion my feet touch the cushion, I’m pleasantly surprised by the texture. I hope this comes back in stock because I’m ready to buy a second!

Great solution for shorter people!
I am 5'2" and while most chairs can be lowered so my feet can rest completely on the floor, I've found that desks generally aren't height-adjustable to how low I would need it to be to work comfortably. I was resting my feet on a plastic storage container but it wasn't very comfortable during long moments of sitting. It took me a while to decide on this foot rest since there are so many out there, but I'm glad I went with this one. I was originally leaning towards a wooden or plastic one that was angled, but I wanted to be able to quickly situate myself quickly upon sitting, and this foot rest allows me to nudge or move it into the perfect position. I wouldn't have been able to do that with a heavier foot rest. I also like how I can use the rounded side, or flip it over to use the flat side which rolls nicely to allow for movement of my ankles and calves while I work. If my chair legs roll into the foot rest, the foam won't damage it unlike a hard foot rest. The non-slip grip on the cover is great for my hardwood floor, and I deliberately chose one that can be washed. Once you unzip and remove the outer non-slip cover, the foam is covered in another zippered cover for double protection against dust and dirt, I suppose. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I'm happy to support a small family-owned business.

Dang, I really wanted to like this cushion but I didn't
I purchased this cushion for two reasons.-- The first is that I have osteoarthritis in my knees and had hoped that the cushion would relieve some pressure on my knees when setting at my computer for hours.-- The second reason is that one of my cats likes to sit on my lap when I'm at the computer but he keeps sliding off because my knees are lower than my thighs. (I know, not a problem that everybody has). Since he slides, I have to constantly reach down and pull him back onto my lap.I assumed that if the cushion raised my knees up higher, it would release some of my knee pain along with the pain (in the rear) of constantly reaching down to catch the sliding cat before he hit the floor. Unfortunately, this cushion didn't resolve either of my issues.I found that the cushion was so high that it actually hurt my knees. (I guess I could jack my chair up higher but that's not going to happen because then it will cause other issues.) The cushion DID stop the cat from sliding but since it hurt my knees so much, I kept squirming around trying to find a comfortable position which ticked off the cat and he would leave. (Maybe that's a plus for the cushion?)The cushion is covered in a nylon-type fabric that has little non-slip dots all over it. The cover can be removed and washed by hand or by machine on gentle and then hung to dry. The dots do keep the cushion from sliding on hardwood and tile floors. However...and this is a big HOWEVER, if you use the cushion on a hardwood floor and use the flat side of the cushion down, the zipper pull tab will mar/scratch your floor over time because the pull is exposed and there is no way to cover it.

Comfort.. at last.
I thought I needed a new expensive ergonomic desk chair to get rid of my lower back pain from sitting too long. However, this footrest alleviates that pain by elevating my knees and allowing my posture to be better while sitting. (I also use an ergonomic seat insert with a cheap computer chair, the combination is a budget solution working well for me) I looked at several similar footrests on Amazon before deciding to take the chance on this one, I was worried about the foam being too squishy as that seemed to be a big complaint amongst footrests of this type, but it's quite firm with just a little give. I like the material and its not an eyesore under my desk. I don't know how well it will hold up over time, but hoping for the best!

A great functional, one size fits most foot rest.
I was looking for a foot rest to put under my desk where I could lay my feet. I did not want a benchy type foot rest which might make me hyper-extend my knees or cause me to put pressure on my feet. That's a bad combination for me. This one is great, I use it under my desk at home and it doesn't slide around. The floor it rests on is carpeted, so I can't comment on how it would react to a slick floor. It is soft without collapsing under weight or prolonged use, a nice discreet black and it has little plastic/rubber bumps on the fabric which give some traction. As others have commented, it does have the zipper on the bottom which may be a concern to those with hardwood floors, but frankly I think it can be worked around with a piece of felt or something. And even better, I can easily move it from location to location in my house by just sticking it under my arm. I do recommend this food rest.

Highly recommended!
I bought 2 of these; one for under my desk and one to travel with. I have a problem with my right leg where, for some reason, I the seats on planes and in cars cuts across the back of my thigh and makes my leg and foot go numb and become painful. I travel a lot for business, and this was becoming very bothersome. I looked at a number of options, and decided on this one for a couple of reasons. 1. It is firm (no blowing up required). That way I don't have to worry about it going flat during the tip; and 2. I can put in rolling side down and do rolling exercises on my long flights. Since getting these, I have not had any issues with leg pain or numbness. I also don't have swollen feet after the 12-15 hour flights either. It is a bit cumbersome when I need to carry it in airports etc. but I just use a luggage strap to attach it to my carry on bag and then it isn't a bother. Well work the little bit of effort it takes.
