Will not last and even new it's garbage
I started using this hard drive only for back up, with only my second time using it it started making loud sound, contacted the manufacture, they sent me another one that is worst because, not only this one is making the same sound, but this one is taking for ever to be recognize by any computer, i mean more than 10 minutes before it shows. i don't even know what to do cause my money and my datas are on the line

Use this with my IMAC and it has worked flawlessly.
I have about 15 TB on mine now - Photos and videos for my YT channels .Picking up another one. This has about 400 hours of run time on it and no problems at all. Going on 4 years now. It is not powered on all the time. I do a back up 3 times a week and other wise it is off.It's power supply plugged is into my systems APC so it gets clean power all the time.

Dead on arrival - Mac Pro and Mac Mini
2021.08.19 MRE: I so wanted this to work! I've got files scattered across 3 drives and decided to consolidate. My main computer is a Mac Pro (late 2013) with USB 3 ports. I also use a Mac Mini (Late 2014) for watching Amazon Prime, etc. It too has USB 3.0 ports, which this external drive was suppose to connect to. I got nothing on either one. Neither machine noticed the drive. No disk utility did either. I used the cable that came with the drive on both Macs. It just didn't work. Back to the drawing board.

Works Fine - Strong Electromagnetic Presence near the fan. Not so portable because of its bulky nature but how can we complain when it gives you 18 TB?

Terrible! I paid for 18TB what I got was 16TB
the package says 18TB my PC says 16TB Horrible SCAM I sent an Email to the Manufacture and have yet to receive a reply. PLEASE HELP
