Portable Fracture Bed Pan with Plastic Guard, Pack of 2

This bedpan is just like the ones used in hospitals, albeit a more pleasant color. Works well for my 99 yr old mom who is 94 pounds. Easier to slide under her than larger models. Would probably be too small for a heavy set person, and would likely be more comfortable if edges were rounded.

We purchased these for my mom, who is going through very late-stage cancer and is bed-ridden. We were having issues with the bed pans that came from hospice. One she felt pinched her and the other she wasn't able to lift up on to. When I saw these, I figured it was worth a shot. They've been wonderful. They are so much easier for her to use.

The bedpan looks well made and it is deep. It is, however, smaller than the ones we bought previously. We needed it for a big-built male patient, and while it was okay, he wasn't as comfortable with it as with the bigger one.

Not strong enough. Very uncomfortable !

I am a quadriplegic due to spinal cord injury. As a result, I have to do the "bowel program 3-4 times per week. At the rehab hospital I was trained to do it lying on my left side and expelling my BM on a chux. Later, I spent a respite period in a nursing home where I was introduced to the fracture bed pan. Now, my care giver injects an "Enemeez" (see Amazon entry for additional info) and rolls on my back over the pan and tips me up into a sitting position. Fast results and no mess. FYI- Line the pan with toilet paper for a quick and easy disposal and clean-up.

Product is just OK was disappointed in the size a little smaller than the bedpans we have now. Works to prevent liquid from spilling when removed as long as it’s not too much in the pan.

This pan fits perfectly into the RV toilet bowl, so when there is no water (like during the winter months)- which allows me to travel in the RV and yet still have access to my private restroom! I used the liners and pads (bought separate) so cleaning was easy-

I purchased these for my mother-in-law to use at night when she is at home. She lives in a long term care facility and frequently come home on weekends & holidays. She says these pans are very comfortable compared to the ones the facility has.
