I chose this 8mm mat for the extra cushioning. The material is good. Only issue it the mat remains curled at the edges and takes time to flatten out. Otherwise it is lightweight and easy to carry around.

Yes there was smell initially as other customers have reported. Putting it in sun reduced the smell. Material is hard.

Very very pathetic product. Smelly like a tyre and hard. Not at all comfortable. It remains curled up even after opening. Please do not buy this product. Total waste of money.

The yoga mat is a bit pricey, but is well cushioned with 8mm thickness and is non-slip. It has a smooth textured finish. I was able to do knuckle pushups on the mat easily without any pain in knuckles or my feet slipping. Colour was as shown in the picture. The brand new mat smells like bitter almonds (no other way to put it) for a couple of days, but that's not a deal breaker unless you're planning to sleep on it.

The material is thick and good for my extra weight. Light weight. Easy to carry. Though the handle given is no use.For exercises grip is not enough. Slips some times

This is great for people use yoga mats everyday. Made of tough quality rubber and feels sturdy. Its bit hard to roll it into its carry bag, but that's how its made. I found it worth the bit high price.
