Maybelline New York Color Show Nail Lacquer, Onyx Rush, 0.23 Fluid Ounce

I was hesitant to buy this due to so many 1-star reviews but I'm glad I took a chance. I grumbled and thought the reviews might be right when I started applying it. It's very thin and I had to apply two coats... and "ain't nobody got tiiime for that!" So why 5 stars? Because what a wonderful finish it has. I'm very rough on my nails and usually have polish chipping and peeling within hours. 48 hours of work, cooking, and 3 showers later, it's still there shining brightly without a chip in sight. Also, I LOVE the color. I got "impeccable grey". Well worth the cheap price and 2 coats. Cheers!

I LOVE this color but it takes FOREVER to dry. I've never been able to wear this without having indentations in the polish.I put on two thin coats--which really isn't even enough because of how thin this polish is and how terrible the brush is, but I don't dare put on more than two coats because I don't want to increase drying time--then I sit around forever waiting for my nails to dry. They'll be dry to the touch but I wake up with blanket and pillow imprints on my nails every. single. time.I do not understand how nail polish is not dry after three hours or more.I wanted to love it but I'll have to find a nice grey color somewhere else because this polish is no good.

It's a good glossy topcoat!Smooth but not runny consitency, the polish through the week doesn't absorb dirt like most, drying time is about 3 minutes and chipping isn't an issue!**Photo is of a week of wear!

I'm obsessed with "upgrades" on plain black polish, and this is one of my favourites.The black base is creme and opaque. The gold glitter is small but chunky, choppy, kind of a foil. Unlike most solid bases with glitter, it actually looks the same when applied as it does in the bottle. Some of the gold is a bit green and appears even greener in certain lighting.While it applies opaque in 3 coats, you may want 4 for more even coverage (although the glitter applies pretty evenly, just sparse). A top coat amplifies the gold immensely! I've layered this with some carefully placed foil glitter from Color Show's "Gilded In Gold" and it's gorgeous, though it's perfect on its own.

Great colors, inexpensive & easy to get on & off. Not the most lasting of Maybelline products, but for a few bucks you can play with a rainbow of colors without hurting your wallet. You'll get 3 or 4 days wear on your nails - about average. The colors do look vibrant & fresh once on & seem to dry quickly. Perfect for a quick mani on the way out for the night.

The vibrant colors are as pictured, it dries super fast, and doesn't chip as quickly as other brands I have tried. Can't find it in stores anymore and I'd rather have it sent to my door anyway!

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:It's somewhat darker than the original Maybelline Salon Expert #210 Born With It. It is also half the fluid ounces, 14.7 ml to 7 ml, for a higher price, but it will have to do as it's the only color I will put on my nails. Apparently, the lighter shade has been discontinued. I am sad but I will live.ABOUT THE SELLER:The shipment and delivery from the Seller were prompt and I will definitely buy from them again.

This is not a true Maybelline product or even nail polish. It was very very thin, it was water with nail with color added to it, did not smell like nail polish and just stained my nails. I shook it thinking that it was separated, but that was not the case. I have been wearing nail polish for over 40 years and this is wrong. I do not recommend and feel that this product was tampered with due to the consistence.
