I bought several freeze-dried items, and this is the first with accurate weight. They give you what is advertised. They are so yummy. They're tart, but melt in your mouth. Looks like puff cereal or something, but the smell is just divine. You can see the thin skin variations of the very real orange. I don't think they're going to last until class, though, they'll be gone! Excellent idea for a to-go snack - if you're gentle. You can see the powder on the lid where I gently placed the two pieces down. If I tossed these in my bag, they'd probably be crushed by the time I reached school.

So tart you'll think you're eating raw lemons. Otherwise, really good.

These taste like tangerines and not reg oranges. I am not crazy about tangerines at all. Maybe it's the drying process that makes them sour vs sweet. Not sure but I didn't like these.

This is not a snack I would use for keeping weight off which is what I am doing not. It is 103 calories per 1 oz. When you put it in your mouth, it feels like rice krispies. It is very light and melts on your tongue. I received a discount for purchasing this item and giving it my personal review. I would not buy it again. This is not to say that someone else might love it.

Light on flavor

This arrived quickly through prime. I love freeze dried fruit. It's like candy without all the guilt. I enjoyed these oranges a lot. They seemed a bit moist when I first opened the package but dried back out after it was opened for a while. It is only 1 1/2 servings in the bag and I do think they are priced a bit high. Overall freeze dried fruit tends to be pretty expensive but these seem a little higher than average. Thus the four stars instead of five.I received this item at a discount for an honest review
