I really really wanted to give this 5 stars, but as other reviewers have stated, the plastic unfortunately changes sizes or shrinks, even if you follow the package instructions. I got more than 2 uses out of it by hand washing it, but was only able to sterilize/ boil it twice. The item itself is designed amazingly and is easy to clean and use and handle. my baby loves to hold and chew on it. I'm able to give him bananas, strawberries, broccoli, and even ice cubes. I clean mine right after each use, so nothing is left to sit and get stuck, but like I said, after the second boil (the first being when I received it before giving to baby), the inner ring would no longer fit inside the gasket.The way the parts are is there is the screw unit that you see in their picture, then inside there is a plastic ring that holds a plastic plunger that attaches to the plastic screw. Both are removable to make sure the unit can get a thorough cleaning.For what I give my baby, I have been successful in not using the ring and just let gravity hold the plunger thing in place. This item would be top notch if they could just make everything but the "nipples" out of a harder, more durable plastic that wont shrink or warp with heat, this would be the greatest thing!I am still using mine and plan to until my baby can eat solids on his own. My baby is currently 8 months and I have been test feeding him occasionally solids since 6 months. I primarily breast feed my baby and am very conservative in feeding him solids- maybe only 1-2 a day as I personally believe that 'food before one is just for fun,' and their little digestive systems are not developed enough to break down or absorb solids, so I only give it to him when he is learning to sit with the family in his high chair- and just chewing on an empty spoon isn't enough.I also like this doodad because my baby actually likes gnawing on it- this is a big deal as all my kids for some reason HATE plastic. I could never get any of my kids to ever take a pacifier (or bottles or most chew toys) without spiting it out and forcibly throwing it on the floor, so for him to be willing to hold it and chew on it even after the food is gone is a big deal.So, will this last for more than one child to pass on to any of my future children- well probably not. I think if I boil it again more parts will shrink, but for me, its not that huge of a deal. for my limited use and for how quickly babies in general grow this is an excellent buy that I will repurchase with my next kid. I mean, how many of us parents have bought a crazy amount of baby items just to have our kid outgrow them in a month or love it one season and hate it the next or visa versa?I really love that this has 3 different nipple sizes for food and that it grows with the baby (or you can have a backup with multiple foods to try out).

This is a great baby food feeder that allows you to give your child hard to eat or swallow foods. It comes with three different silicone nipples which are easy to clean and have different size holes to allow more food to come out at a time and also comes with a cover.I had bought one of these baby feeders with my last child that was made out of mesh and it was impossible to clean. It had gotten stained after the first time and now it's a yucky brown color. This time I wanted to buy something that was super easy to clean but still accomplishes t the same goal. And this baby food feeder does the job. It is as easy to clean as a bottle nipple and I can give my baby bananas, cooked carrots, watermelon, ect. Without worrying about my baby choking on a big piece.I definitely recommend this product since it does what it advertised it should do and looks nice and is reasonably priced.I did receive this product at a discount but my review is my own honest opinion.

Tried feeding my 4m old twins mashed banana with this today! It's their first time having solid food. They both learned to eat with this little wonderful baby food feeder within 3 min. and they LOOOOOOOVED it! So happy I got this. I wanted to get another one just now and found there's an identical product on sale for under $10 (also on Amazon), and I went for it. The only difference is the baby print on the cap.This is very easy to use and clean, the screw helps a little by pushing down food. (it only screws down about 1cm, not much, but helps just a little bit, better than nothing)

Well made, great product! Initially we used the Munchkins feeder with mesh. The blue mesh quickly turned dirty and it was difficult to clean the crevices within the mesh. I looked to get a silicone feeder and came across this one. Pros:1) the extra nipples! Great for carrying around when cleaning is inconvenient. Easy to remove and insert.2) the size of the nipples. Appropriate for a 6month old. My little one would try to insert the entire munchkin feeder mesh into his mouth and gag on it because of its large size (could easily fit a piece of medium sized banana about 1.5in in length). Also, when he was not trying to put the whole thing in his mouth, he would quickly smear food onto his clothes and face from the mesh. The Boppin Baby one is still a good size but created a lot less mess.3) carrying container. Did not realize how necessary this is until we used one without and ended up with sticky, wet mess of banana/spit/mesh. Also, the container has three little legs on the bottom so that you can set it on the table without worrying about it rolling away.Cons: none so far! Very pleased with the product.

One of my favorite baby products ever!!!!! I love this thing and so does my 7 month old!! We have been using it for about a month and she gets excited when she sees me pull it out. We put frozen fruit or frozen breastmilk in it and she chomps away. It has really helped with soothing her teething pain. I love that it comes with silicone feeders because it's easy to use and clean. We originally had a mesh one from another company and it was so gross and hard to clean. Also, I love that this one comes with multiple silicone feeders so I can still use one if others are in the dishwasher. Oh, and one of the best parts?? It twists up to make it easier for the baby to get to the food!

I use this as a teether for our baby and stufff frozen fruit or breast milk into the silicon pouch. The largest pouch will hold 1/2 grape. It's somewhat limited due to the smaller opening, even though the larger pouch is wider than the base. I like that the handle rotates to compress the food inside, since we use the largest size silicone pouch, it is necessary once the food has gone soft.Mold will grow inside the plastic twist mechanism, no matter how well you wash it. I found that if you over rotate it, you can pop the mechanism apart to thoroughly clean it and it all snaps back together again.
