Valvoline oil in my opinion is the best based on testing results due to the additives Valvoline puts in the oil. I use high mileage to keep the seals conditioned. I've used Valvoline for over 40 years and never had an oil related issue. I'm not saying there are not other quality motor oils, Valvoline has just been my preference.

I did an oil change before I went on a 100 mile trip with my old beater car. Halfway through it started overheating and lost all the coolant but somehow this oil kept my car going for 50 miles on the highway pegged in the red. I’d say this oil is pretty damn good!
