Good for your DIY top filter or as replacement.

Waste of money
It can be only used as water pump, the air doesn't blow up if you keep below 6" and this is not made for that. Please don't buy and waste your money

Pump is not powerful as a 50hz motor should be....
The air pressure depletes as the depth you put it in increases. If you are going to keep it in around 4-6inches in water you can go for it. But, not for 8-12 inches.
