There is no instructions on how to use the soap. Finally, I went on YouTube. The instruction there was not clear.After using the soap, I did not see any changes. I only have grays on my edges and sideburns. No changes observed. I waisted my time and money

I love that this small disc is shampoo! Sometimes I don't need a conditioner, but it depends on how my hair feels. The scent is very EARTHY/ WOODSY, which permeates throughout the bathroom. I bought a sponge holder with holes to allow this to air dry instead of the metal tin provided. This disc shampoo lasted 3 months and I wash my hair every other day. I love how my hair feels and smells afterwards.

I bought this soap because it was falsely advertised here on Amazon as Spartan, and, as I wanted to try Spartan, the price on this one enticed me to try it. It took a while to arrive, so I assume it came from Communist China. Well, almost everything nowadays comes from there. We feed the dragon that might just bite us in the rear one day. Anyway, when I got it, it was not Spartan, so I decided to return it. They refunded the money but left the product. So, I decided to try it. Why should it go to waste, right? I used almost the whole bar. I have a sensitive scalp and must be very careful with what I put on it. To the product's credit, I had no dryness, no dandruff, no hair loss. That was very good. As a nice bonus, this soap made my dull hair shiny and alive-looking. Now, the bad. It did nothing to the hair being gray. Maybe some unnoticeable darker tint, but I am not sure. So, I decided to try real Spartan. Bought a two-bar pack from their site and used it religiously. Surprize, surprize. It did nothing to the grays either. Maybe a little more noticeable tint. However, I got all kinds of issues, from dryness to hair loss. So, to compare this fake Spartan to the real Spartan, I must say that for me, this soap is better (and way cheaper). They both do not reverse gray (or at least in my case they did not), but this soap is better as soap. If you just want good hair soap because you want something different from your shampoo, go for it. If you want your gray hair to look like you are 18, look elsewhere. This ain't going to help you. Well, real Spartan most likely won't help you either. So, save your money and do not trust the marketing hype. Not blindly at least.

I love the way my straight, fine hair feels after using this shampoo which I have been using every other day for about a month. In my opinion the woodsy smell is wonderful. It is strong— and may not be to everyone’s taste but I love it and want it to permeate the air. Lather is great! Two swipes across the head is enough. I wish they listed the ingredients; just stating “healthy and natural” is not quite enough. Even when I wrote requesting an ingredients list, the response was “all healthy, natural ingredients.” As for darkening, I see no evidence of it. Anyone wanting to see dark hair will be disappointed. If it does eventually darken, it might be subtle which is fine with me. The shampoo bar’s other qualities make it a good purchase for me.

Overall this shampoo is fantastic! I ordered it to address greying hair. While it didn't bring back my natural color, it added volume and cleanliness to my hair.Temper your expectations on bringing back color, but if you want a shampoo that is good for the environment (no bottle to toss or recycle) and makes your hair very clean, this does the trick.

I just love the smell of this soap. The rest of what was said doesn't work. It doesn't help with hair loss, and also with gray hair coloring. Moreover, I got itchy scalp after using this product. Disappointed.

Been using the bar for over 2 weeks. Lathers great. For me it was stinging in the eyes, so be careful for the small ones. But over the last two weeks I have noticed less hair falling in the shower. I will still use this. I use it almost 6 days a week. Overall I will recommend it. It does not bring your hair color back.
