Simple and performs as described. Can even clip on when not in use over a closed hard cover case, effectively keeping the case closed while transporting. Does not work as well for closed soft cover cases sadly as the clips do not grip well to thicker soft cases and slips off occasionally if put over both layers of the case or warps the screen cover if left on only the back (for me at least). It does work really well on soft cover cases though, just noticed I had to take it off and store it separately to do it. The strap gives the kindle a very comfortable and secure one-handed hold while on the move or just casually reading in bed or on the porcelain throne at home.Some things to consider also:- This strap elastic is TIGHT initially, but WILL stretch out over time, causing it to potentially slack and slide off once you remove your hand while also giving it a more comfortable hand-feel- The fabric used feels like pleather, which is not necessarily a bad thing, though WILL most likely shred and deteriorate over time- The clips themselves are plastic, and WILL break if dropped, accidentally stepped on, or repeatedly strained (ie. taking the strap on and off for storage purposes)- It adds some bulk to your kindle, with or without the case, which for some could be a deal breaker- Kind of difficult to store if want to keep it separated from your kindle due to its initial bulk and the clips. If you are lazy, I recommend just perpetually leaving it on your kindle AFTER stretching it out a bit (back to the first thing to look out for as its initial tightness really strains the plastic on the kindle)Summary:If you want a strap for you case/kindle, this is the product for you. Its everything this busy body and restless reader could ask for to keep my kindle from falling on my face while reading in bed or going for an impromptu swim somewhere. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Very good, sturdy, and easy to clip on. It's a little tight on the hand but really you won’t have to worry about the hand strain of holding your kindle for a long time. Recommend.

I wish this didn't cost as much money as it did. That seemed unnecessary, but it's nice and fits the 2021 paperwhite kindle quite well. I do have a case, a thin one, that I have to take off in order to use the strap. It doesn't quite fit, however, if you had just a silicone one, or something that doesn't have the front cover for the kindle, it should go over the case as well.It's easy to switch your hands back and forth, and can be used with both easily. I have small hands and I don't have to stretch uncomfortably to "turn the page" of the kindle. My fingers do get tired after being flat in the strap after a while, but really, I feel like that's common sense, a minor issue, and not a reason to not purchase. Just switch hands or take your hand out and bend and stretch your fingers a little bit.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and would purchase again.

I have been looking for a removable strap for my Kindle Paperwhite. I have a clear plastic/rubber (?) case on with a screen protector. I didn’t want a book style with a front cover which seems to be the most popular choice for options with a hand strap. I also have a pop socket stuck on the case which I love but sometimes my fingers/hand get tired of holding it if I read for long periods of time so I wanted something like this to slide my hand in and not have to hold on to the kindle or the pop socket. I had a few requirements when I was searching for the perfect product: something that could easily be attached when I want to use it and removed when I don’t without requiring removal of the case every time and something that felt comfortable in my hand. I have tried several different products that either didn’t fit over the case or were uncomfortable to hold but this is PERFECT. The hooks fit over the kindle or the case perfectly. The strap is elastic with a leather piece and not made from a sticky hot rubber band. This is such a simple product but surprisingly not an easy one to find. I feel like it is priced a little high for what it is but considering this is the only product I found that met all my requirements I don’t regret spending the money. I would definitely recommend this!After using for about 2 months I do have one small suggestion. It would be great if this strap had an adjustable band so it could fit top to bottom or left to right.
