Who Would Have Thought
Who would have thought! Something so inexpensive and yet works beyond expectations. You simply cut 2 or 3 inch pieces, twist one end, tie a string to that end and tie the other end to a limb of a tree, etc. and voila, no birds. Before this I had a continous stream of crows and others in my garden and bathing in my fountain. Since I placed just two strips, nothing, not one bird! I think the reflective properties (red and silver shinning sides) twisting in the air keeps everything away.

Simple, and it really works.
I was plagued by birds eating the starwberries that I grow. This stuff, as simple as it is, really seems to work.

it works!
We had a woodpecker who took a liking to the corner of our house. a few strips of this product attached to the area did the trick!

Helpful
Modestly successful. Keeps Osprey away reducing turd load on boat. Starlings, crows and grackles are not impressed.

No more Duck Crap on the Car Roof
I put this in my wife's Christmas stocking, and she put some tiny rare earth magnets in mine. I taped one magnet each in the centers of five foot lengths of streamers. I stacked four with the streamers angled at 45 degrees. When we don't need it, we stick it to the headrest post. When the ducks wander, we stick it on the roof of the car. I am really tired of piles of duck crap on the car.We recently got a flyer from someone who moved out of the neighborhood. It was begging people in the neighborhood to "keep feeding the ducks because I am moving." I sure hope everyone is as sick of these ducks as I am, and nobody takes up the mantel. Since that note, at least 40 ducks have left. I don't think the stray dog that swims around feeding on them could have taken care of that many.
