Great fit, very comfortable, but what happened to the quality of the label? IT DISINTEGRATED!
I love the jeans. They're the best fitting, best feeling jeans I've ever owned. The material is a bit stretchy and form-fitting without being restrictive. It's a fitted jeans that feels relaxed. Great.But... what happened to the quality of the Levi's label on the back? The label on this pair literally disintegrated after only about 10 or 12 washes. I've only owned these jeans since mid-October 2018, and at the time of writing this review it is nearing the end of January 2019. I never wash my clothes in harsh detergents, and I always dry them on low heat. The labels on other brands of jeans that I own have held up fine for years. The Levi's label ripped like cheap paper. I'd love to buy another couple pair of these, but I'm thinking maybe not now.

Try on in store first!
Bought four pairs: two here & two through another store via their website. I received the Biscuit from here size 36 waist, which is the same size as my Gap slim jeans. As soon as I was putting it on I felt like I was putting skinny jeans on. I had to force the button on the waist to close and they were tight around the butt.I walked around the house with them on to see if they would start loosening up a bit, which I felt they did, but not by much. I like the color and style and will keep them. The black ones were also a tight fit. The dark blue with a very yellow stitching that have a hint of green fit perfect. All of them were the same size & style. My major suggestion is to find them at a store and try them on first.

Very Happy
Was not knowing what to expect based on some of the reviews and purchasing sight unseen but these jeans fit me perfect. Probably the best fitting jeans I have now. I can't figure out how they incorporated the little bit of stretch with these jeans but it's great. They don't fit or look like "skinny jeans" at all. I had been wearing the loose fit but got tired of how baggy they looked. These jeans take out that baggy look but still give me room.

Too Much Polyester
I bought this 511 model 2 years ago (2 separate styles of it, actually) and they were perfect - both 99% cotton 1% elastane. They wore and felt like "Levi's". Now, the imported version of Levi's jeans are made often with funkier cotton blends. So be careful and read the descriptions. This one I over-looked the blend description - and it has 17% Polyester! ... which makes it feel more like "retirement easy-care pants". They are still fine and I will wear them, but I immediately ordered a pair of their "511 Made in USA" pants - which are the 99% cotton versions that *used* to be standard. And of course those are $30 more than these cheaper fabric imported versions. So goes marketing in the USA and industry short-cuts. And hence 3 stars. PS - description also says "button closure" but it's a zipper. Fine with that.

Not all Levi’s are made from the same fabric combinations
I have multiple pairs of Levi 511 jeans and clearly I did not pay attention to the variations in fabric. One pair is 100% cotton, one pair is 99% cotton with 1% elastane, and this pair I purchased is 81.5% cotton, 17% polyester, 1.5% elastane. This combination of fabric provides the most stretch and for me, the absolute best fit. There are also additional fabric combinations. It is odd, but the fabric seems to make more of a difference than the Levi numbered fit (501, 511, etc.) I ordered another pair of 511 jeans with a different fabric that did not fit at all. If you are going to buy these jeans online, be aware of those differences. Sadly the color you want may not be in the fabric you like. Also if you are going to order jeans from Amazon Online, it pays to be a Prime Member and ONLY order Prime eligible stuff.

Get 2-inches smaller on waist -- runs large, otherwise fantastic jeans
In the past, I would find a pair of Levis that fit great and then order a few more of the exact same Style/Size/Color, but the other purchased pairs would always be totally different and leave me disappointed. Maybe I got lucky this time, but I got a few of the same Style/Size here, and in different colors, and they are feel exactly the same and fit great. One thing I've noticed as well is these pants are a bit large. I am exactly a 32 waist, just measured to check and there's no two ways about it. But the 32 w Levis are way too roomy -- only the 30 w Levis fit my 32-inch waist. Who knows, maybe they're trying to make people feel skinnier than they really are by making these pants bigger, ya know? A marketing gimmick perhaps. Funny. Great jeans.

Fit/size and fabric is hit and miss
I'm 5'9" @ 195 lbs and and a fairly athletic build for an older guy. I ordered these in a 36x30 but I have to wear a belt with them. The 34x30 were a little more snug than I was comfortable with for all day wear. 35x30 would have been perfect if they existed. The fabric makeup depends on the color chosen. Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell what you're going to get from the description on Amazon. I have the Biscuits color and its 82% cotton, 17% polyester, and 1% elastane and very stretchy. I also have the Ducky Boy color which is 99% cotton and 1% elastane with very little stretch. And although they're both labeled the same size, the Ducky Boy color fits more loose, is a little longer, and the width at the ankle is larger than what I consider a slim fit. The fit of the Biscuits color seems right on and the width at the ankle, more narrow like what I'd expect from a slim-fit.

Totally Inaccurate Sizes
I like the way these jeans fit... when they fit. As others have reported. The sizes are very inconsistent. I've posted photos showing some of the issues. Of the four pair of 38x32's I purchased, the inseams ranged from about 27" up. Only one pair was actually 32" but that same pair had a waist that measured over 40". When the waists are a little small, they tend to stretch and become comfortable but snug. But when the waist is too large or the inseam is too short, you will have to return them.

comfortable stretch jeans
I have the same jeans in black and wanted white ones to wear in the summer. I like these, as they stretch and are comfortable so would recommend this product.

Nice fabric
Really nice jeans. Nice, soft fabric. Fits well. But the label on the backside is more beige/brownish and the buttons are metallic instead of black.
