Perfect Replacement – Works Flawlessly!
Really impressed with this mic — works flawlessly and is much cheaper than the original. Sound quality is clear, and it fits perfectly. Can’t fault it at all. Great value for money!

Lots of static interference
Lots of static noise/ distortion from mic. Impossible to use in game chat. Only tested for 30 minutes then had to stop.

The casing doesn't have the same rubbery feel as the original microphone, but other than that it's completely fine.

Fits A40, bit quiet
my original mic arm is falling apart, the plastic surrounding the goose neck mic is coming off in chunks. This replacement fits the headset, but is about half the volume of the astro original.

Poor quality audio
Sound quality on recipient end is awful. Cuts in and out and buzzes a lot. Possibly a dud but really isn’t good.

Doesn’t work
Needed a replacement microphone tested it and nothing was working. I tried both microphone ports on my Astro a40s didn’t work.Headset is fine I’m getting audio still as normal.Changed the aux cable to see if that was the issue. getting audio andthe microphone still didn’t work.
