Do it! Just do it! I used the Smokey Topaz on my dark root smudge/grow out and my lighter blonde balayage highlights as they were all getting warmer and brassy due to sun, pool, washing… I was terrified to use this thinking it would go too dark, but it made the perfect Teddy Bronde hair color. Perfection! Followed instructions and left on the full 20 minutes.I almost did the Winter Wheat as that color on the box more closely matched my existing hair color. I don’t think that would have done anything. Go for the Smokey Topaz!

This toner worked amazing for me. I have naturally very dark brown hair with highlights/balayage which I’m working on growing out. Since I’m not going to the salon, I had a really unnatural brassy color but the toner warmed it up, darkened the color slightly and removed the brassiness making everything more natural and beautiful. I LOVE the price and it’s a great value with a great outcome for a fraction of the salon cost. It’s so easy to mix up and apply yourself in the shower.

TRULY SAVED THE DAY! I’ve used the brand before (had tried copper for a bit) and loved it. Went to my first salon since I moved and it turned out AWFUL. Looked like I had gotten it done months ago and had grown out my natural root. These pics for were from day 2😩 I didn’t even want to leave the house. Did one round of this and it truly saved my hair. 10000/10 would absolutely recommend

Wow!!!!! This product is incredible. It turned my orange hair — freshly bleached after having black box dye removed from it — to a glossy, healthy, shiny feeling bronde. I LOVE the cool tone in this color.

I didn't notice a huge difference to my hair, and it took an embarrassing amount of time to open the bottle. But was easy to mix and use and i was glad it came already measured

I don’t quite understand the negative reviews of this gloss, except to think that people don’t have the correct expectations. My natural hair color is a level 5 dark brown, which I recently got highlighted. As my brown hair girls know, it is easy to get an orange tint to your hair during the lightening process , and after the toner applied in the salon washes out. The Smokey topaz made a wonderful difference in my orange toned highlights and I immediately ordered another box to have on hand when it’s time to do it again. My biggest suggestion is not to apply this in the shower. I took a shower and shampooed, so that the toner could properly absorb in my hair. Then I towel dried and carefully brushed my hair and divided into 4 sections. I applied the toner to each section in front of a mirror and let it sit for 15 minutes, then showered again to rinse it out. I know it seems like an extra step but I believe you will get much better results this way than hap hazardly applying in the shower. Very pleased with the product and the literal hundreds of dollars it’s going to save me in salon appointments I’ll no longer need!
