Easy to apply an clean up milk paint!
I absolutely loved my Meetinghouse Blue Milk Paint! I was a bit nervous to try something other than chalk paint, as I had successfully completed a few projects very easily using chalk paint. However, I would have to say that FolkArt milk paint has very similar coverage and finish as a chalk paint. I plan to paint my coffee table this soft blue, but decided to try it on a few smaller projects first. Here is what I found:*A little goes a long way-- this paint has great coverage and I only needed to apply one coat of paint. I was going for more of a rustic look and it turned out perfect!*The finish is definitely a "milky" finish, just the look I was going for with my projects. If you are looking for a more shiny finish, or painting a surface that will get more wear and tear, you may want to add a top coat of Milk Paint Finishing Oil, as I will likely do with my coffee table.*The paint is water-based so it is very easy to clean up, just rinse immediately after use.*The paint color dried quiet a bit lighter than it went on, as is typical with most paints, but I am very happy with how it turned out.*The directions say that it works best on raw wood (or sand/primer for pre-finished surfaces.) Just for fun, I painted a pre-finished picture frame and it turned out great! (Pictures attached!)You will love this easy to use paint! I received this paint for free in exchange for my unbiased review.

Very happy with the quality of the paint and the outcome ...
I had one of the bottles in the package explode and make a huge mess inside of the package during delivery. Also wish that the size of the bottle was bigger for the price. Very happy with the quality of the paint and the outcome of my project. The paint goes on in thin layers but a little goes a long way. To do an entire vanity, medicine cabinet, and mirror, it only took me two bottles of the paint.

Loooove this shade of red and using Milk Paint.
It's expensive, but lasts a long time. It just glides on so nice; I prefer it to typical acrylics.

Great!!
Great color! Super easy to apply and very very fast. I only had to apply two coats of paint (within 1 hour) and it completely covered the wood underneath! I used it for my hamster cages and it turned out beautiful, plus it was safe as well.

Worked well for my application
I use a variety of these colors to paint the inside of wood boxes. Covers well, and easy to work with...easier to work with than powder versions of milk paint. On the other hand, shelf life will be limited compared to the powder versions of milk paint once the container is opened.

Casein Paint
Super easy brush clean-up with water. So much so I wondered if it was permanent paint or not when dry. I wish they would list the ingredients. Covered about 4 x 4 feet for me on cloth. I think if I rub it after it is dry it does come off a little on my hand. Very chalky.

Quaker Blue is really blueberry purple.
Did not match the dark dusty blue description given on the site. If you are looking for the perfect blueberry purple, this is your color.

Do a test run before painting your product!!
It’s ok I guess. After all my research into milk paint I was super excited to test this out. After receiving the product and doing a test run I found that multiple coats were needed, it wasn’t very durable and has a yellow-ish hue after drying.

Definitely cannot recommend this product
Really disappointed with this product. Contrary to what the FolkArt says on it’s website this paint is NOT absorbed by the wood – it hardly adheres to bare pine after following the instructions on the FolkArt site. After 24 hours it rubs off when using a kitchen towel and it does not settle well so does need ultra-light sanding and the result is poor. The colors bear no relation to the color name or the color shown on the label. Churned butter turns out to be a vibrant lime yellow. Shaker red which has a soft dusty look on the libel is actually a Siren Red. Cottage Green turned out to be a strong blue/green rather than the label color which again shows a soft dusty almost not there green. I bought six colors and the only one that came true to it’s name is white. Anyone who is willing to pay the cost of packing and shipping can have mine free. Definitely cannot recommend this product.

The right proportion to mix
The bottle is too small. It crazy reactive by itself. Not always as desired
