Great for breadboards
This 3.5 mm jack worked great for both my solderless breadboard and for the soldered version. It clips in securely and with 5 solder points you don't have to worry about it breaking free from the board. It's just way overpriced for some odd reason. However, I could not find any ready alternatives.
