Good product

The product didn't keep the brown sugar as moist as I would have expected. And, this was without opening the sealed container very often for about 8 weeks. This was brown sugar that had already lost its moisture and I was rehydating it. Maybe this product will work better with a newly opened box of brown sugar. It worked great softening some over-baked cookies.

I really love having soft brown sugar. Last time, I told my boyfriend to put in a damp paper towel and he melted a bunch of the sugar but putting in two wet paper towels. The same sort of issue could occur with this terra cotta keeper if you soak it for too long. Be careful to soak it only for 15 minutes and thoroughly dry it off prior to putting it in the brown sugar. I did it once a few months ago and my brown sugar is still perfect.I do wish I could buy just one, as I do not have a use for two keepers. I gave the extra one away.

These are one of the best kitchen items I've ever bought. I bought a set for myself and after trying, ordered a second set of two for my Mom. They are easy, simple and do exactly what they say - Keep Brown Sugar Soft. I like to buy things in bulk/when lower cost .. and now I can stock up on Brown Sugar Bags when on sale and then soften it when I fill up Sugar Container. Excellent Buy for the Money and Savings of not having to get rid of hard as a rock Sugar Bags.

I'm always having the problem of my Brown Sugar drying out and these solved the issue. I placed one in the new bag of Brown Sugar and a month later the sugar is still soft and moist. I put the second one in a bag of Brown sugar that had hardened and after a few days the entire bag was soft again. This item is a must have for the kitchen!

It keeps sugar fresh in a seal container. I gifted one and kept one for me. I used it every day.

I was introduced to these by my friends in Canada. I live in a very damp valley in Hawai'i and sugars tend to clump and get excessively moist in my kitchen no matter what I do. These terra cotta leaves keep my sugar dry and seemingly free of excess moisture. I use it for airtight boxes of light and dark brown sugars as an additional layer of moisture protection.

I've used this product before. It really works! I have also purchased it (in person) for a much lower price - that's the reason I only like it.
