Great series, a little warped but no harm done
I love this series, and am so happy to finally complete my collection. if you like gore and action and being kept on your toes this is a great book, amazing backstory on Marco and makes rereading the original series so much better, my only problem is that the book was shipped in a paper package, unlike the usual Amazon plastic package, we’ve had wet weather lately and it arrived kinda warped, no real damage that putting it under some books can’t fix but still, disappointing (the photo is after a couple days of sitting under books so it looks better then when it came but you get the point) I would still recommend getting it because we always want to support kohske and it’s a great read

Amazing book
Waited a long time for this book, but hasnt answered too many questions from the Gangsta. series yet, but I'm really looking forward to the next one. If you're looking to very this book, read all the original series first.

Brutal and Hard, but Good
I bought this book because I enjoyed the complexity and rich characterization of the original series and, since I am quite fond of Marco Adriano, was interested in his backstory and the circumstances that caused him to leave the Hunters and start working for the Cristano's. This volume definitely lived up to my expectations and was a great start to learning about how a young Hunter named Spas went from being an efficient, remorseless killer to the kind, compassionate man that we know and love from the main story. Rounding out Spas' squad are Striker and Beretta and new faces Minimi and Maverick/Marie. The connections between the squad members were explored quite well, and I am interested to learn more about the motivations of each (it would be nice to see some kind of meaning behind Striker and Beretta's craziness). We also get some good moments with Loretta's father Luca and the younger versions of several characters from the main story as well. It was a hard read at times because of the Hunter's inherent brutality, particularly as Spas began to realize the truth at the end; but it was a good one. I am looking forward to seeing where Spas goes next in May.

Dark, heartbreaking and intense.
I've suffered and cried so much with this wonderful volume. I always thought Marco's past as a big mystery full of pain, but this? This is way more pain than I imagined, but oh, it's so good! I really hope that they keep translating this series, I need more!

Get Better Kohske!
Nice to see more development of tertiary characters with rich backstories. Hopefully Kohske and team can keep this up!
