Thule laptop backpack

I'm writing here because $110 for a backpack that damages after 5 months of normal use is not ok, and because Thule customer care never answered my email.As you can see in the 3 attached photos, this is a high quality backpack, but the bottom is very bad. It is like RUBBER GLUED TOGETHER that UNGLUED after 4-5 months of normal use. For over a $110 backpack, I would have expected better quality in the bottom. The photos appear like it was fabric and then the rubber layer, but no, there's only the rubber that looks good but the UNGLUED problem is a MAJOR ONEI contacted THULE but with no answer, I'm currently in Ecuador, South America, so I don't know if this will be covered by some kind of warranty. This is very bad, previously I had an OGIO backpack that had no issues like this one. BIG DESIGN FLAW and with NO ANSWER from Thule.Check in a local store and see if this will hold your daily trips, mine are normal ones, no abuse, no overweight, but the bag just unglued for no reason.

I'm someone who loves having lots of different compartments in my backpack in which I can store a large variety of different items. This item definitely meets that need, but one of my favorite features is that the front will open up and accomodate a suprisingly large item (such a bicycle helment or a 1.75L bottle of whiskey :) ) -- great for stopping by the grocery store on the way back from work on your bike. I've been through a lot of backpacks just in the last few years and this is by far my favorite.

I think this backpack is good and I use it all of the time, so far it hasn't broken on me. One thing to advise is that there are bright neon blue cords in the front pocket that are visible when the bag is full/expanded. I wanted an all-black backpack because I lead a quite minimal lifestyle and these neon blue cords were not good for me. They are plastic and would be difficult to dye. Anyway, just know that in advance of purchasing because I felt like the rug was ripped out from under me.

I expected more from this brand. Bag is perfect for my travel needs. Great compartmentalizations. Perfect size. All around awesome. Except that it is falling apart after 3 months of extremely light use. Bottom falling out. Bummer.

Best backpack I ever got. You will not regret it. Every day almost I find some new and cool feature about it.Edit: like others, the bottom became unglued. I am changing my rating to 1 star for this reason.

Great bag, except for the rubberized fabric seams at the bottom. However, their great warranty service has turned me into a customer for life

One of the best backpacks I've owned. I will be deeply saddened when the bottom inevitably gives out. Preemptive 5 stars until it fails me. Fingers crossed it never does.

Great bag. I've been using it for 4 months primarily for work. It fits everything I need. It has plenty of storage pockets.

I have had this backpack for a couple months now, and I have to say that it holds up tremendously. I really like the assortment of pockets as you can keep the contents of the bag organized, and it is UNBELIEVABLY comfortable, even when carrying very heavy loads. I was really on the fence about giving it a 5 star review however because it's not quite as roomy as I would have hoped. It accordions out and can therefore carry a lot more than you'd expect, but the way its layered means that it's roomier at the bottom of the bag, and as it goes up the other pockets sort of monopolize the space, and if you keep things in the outer pockets it can be a bit top heavy. That being said I would absolutely recommend this backpack, especially for cycling/commuting. I am a student and I bike with my laptop, books and supplies in this bag on a regular basis. It's sturdy and water resistant (wouldn't go as far as to say waterproof). I love the "secret" outer pocket that can pop out and hold my helmet. Super convenient.

La mejor mochila que he tenido.Antes de nada decir que tiene 27L, el modelo de 29L es otro.La calidad, se nota en cualquier componente.Lo que más me ha sorprendido de esta mochila es que se adapta al contenido que le pones, es decir se agranda o se vuelve pequeña en función de tus necesidades, por si misma!Tiene cualquier bolsillo, o compartimento que necesites o puedas imaginar, y tu ordenador bien protegido.La recomiendo con los ojos cerrados.Han pasado 5 años ya desde mi compra, la sigo usando a diario, pero la cremallera ha fallado, suerte que lleva 2 cierres y me voy apañando.Al compartimento exterior le hecho en falta un velcro, se abre constantemente con la mochila medio llena...nota: la foto no se corresponde con el modelo de 27l.

Toller Rucksack! Die Fachaufteilung ist gut. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Man kommt überall gut dran. Kann den Rucksack weiterempfehlen!

Great quality, used to lug around laptop and heavy items for college. Fits well.

La mochila se ve de calidad, las cremalleras, los bolsillos, las asas, todo se ve resistente siendo a la vez ligero. No le consigo encontrar el punto al bolsillo grande exterior que preferiría que no lo tuviese.
