Well made and nicely finished
The finish grinding/polishing is really nice-- on par with that big S brand that costs 4 times as much. The area around the 3/8's drive is thicker than the wrench area for strength. I don't think these will fail and suspect they'll last decades.

Lifesaver when you need them
These crow foot wrenches are one of those tools that you need once or twice in a lifetime but when they are needed there is no way around them. To be specific these are used in those rare occasions where a traditional combination wrench or ratchet cannot get into a spot to access a nut. I've read reviews were people have complained that they are awkward to use. Well they are, if you think you can replace a set of combination with these crow foot wrenches you are mistaken.Anyway, these wrenches are high quality and have a great finish on them. I've used them a few times and have not had a problem where the "foot" spreading open as people have mentioned with the cheap made in China sets. These have held up to some good use and show no wear or damage. These are the typical high quality tools you expect from GearWrench.

Good tools for the money
Now that I got a chance to try these out, I thought I'd write a review of my thoughts.First, the wrenches are strong, and seem to be of good quality, about like anything else I've gotten from GearWrench, very good, but if I were a mechanic making a living with my tools, I might spring for something like MAC or Snap-Ons. However, they are precisely made, and the finish is smooth, actually almost too smooth. I have seen other crowfoot wrenches, where the part of the jaw that contacts the flats of the nut, are slightly textured, making them more slip resistant, which is about the only improvement I can think of for the tools themselves. For a slightly rounded nut, or especially a hose fitting (where it doesn't always keep its shape rigidly) the mirror-smooth finish of the contact flats can sometimes be a negative. On the bright side, they clean up easily, and so far sho no signs of 'spreading' in use.The plastic organizer they come in, could use some improvement, though. It is way to 'thick' for what it does. It is too bulky to fit conveniently in a toolbox drawer, but has no cover to keep the tools clean, if used as stand-alone storage. Simply slimming down the case, or adding a lid (either one would be fine) would be a big improvement.

Nice smooth chrome finish - Good tolerance
Bought to replace the intermediate brake lines on a BMW E39. There is no way to get a wrench, or line wrench on them securely so I ordered these. They have a good feel in the hand, nice smooth finish, and seem to be true to sizing.Worked great for my job, with an extension. These aren't an everyday needed tool, but are great when in awkward positions.

Great tools but no storage tray?
Nice Gearwrench set, but it’s a bit false advertising. Says they are “KD” brand but are gear wrench, and says they come in a blow mold tray. . No tray just in a little box. Gave it a 4 star because of the false advertising.

Always Gearwrench quality!
Quality set of crows feet wrenches. A little pricey, but worth the money. I always separate my SAE & metric crows feet sets, put each of them in canvas zippered bags for storage.
