These charming and rustic picture frames are made from real, authentic, weathered wood recycled from barns and homes in Oklahoma and Texas. How's that for Made in America?!?!? Part of this series' charisma is that no two frames look alike. Irregular joints and imperfections including knots, holes, and slight color variations are all part of the overall Barnwood look. Perfect for the home, office, art gallery, or that cute little cabin in the woods.

Picture perfect! :)
Absolutely beautiful frames. Really happy with them. (I got 2 of these Barnwood ones)Delivery: Only negative was the packaging really. The frame its-self was wrapped in bubble-wrap and were completely un-damaged, however Amazon for some reason put it in a huge empty box (could have probably fit 6-8 frames in the box) with no padding or anything like that. Thankfully it arrived in one piece!Frame:Really rustic feel to it, not a polished finished, sort of a like piece of drift wood, beautiful effect.Cover:Clear plastic cover comes with a dust sticker on both sides, and arrived in perfect condition.Backing:The backing was essentially just a piece of cardboard which felt a bit cheap and didn't really 100% fit into the gap, but it does the job fine. There are plenty of clasps holding it in place.Hanging:Frame comes with a claw hook which you hammer into the frame, I opted to use a nail-free sticky pad option which keeps the frame flush with the wall, but I am sure the claw would have worked fine aswell. All in all I can do nothing but give this frame 5/5 as it was perfect and looks amazing.

very poor craftmanship
This frame is NOT what I expected. I can't be sure if this is truly the look the maker(s) of this frame intended. Indeed, the frame is made of reclaimed wood and I expected a rustic, quaint effect. But there is a line between rustic and crude craftsmanship that has been crossed, in my opinion. The deeper, interior portion of the frame is nowhere near flush with the outer perimeter. One can see the nails connecting the pieces and light passing through the generous cracks (see photos). This reclaimed wood, I imagine, ought to be handled with care when constructing the frame. One nail was inserted with the result of fracturing the wood (see photo). To me, this frame looks shoddy and unattractive. I will be returning the frame. Buyer beware. The photo of the frame on the Amazon webpage appears infinitely more smooth and attractive than the specimen I received.

Cheaply made
I love the look of these but the they are very cheaply made. Two of them are coming apart already. I had to darken some of the wood with a diluted stain because some of the pieces were almost white. They come with hanging hardware that's very small, weak and not attached. The plastic is thin and feels like it will scratch easily. Luckily I had glass the exact same size from the frames I replaced these with and I used those. I would not buy these again.

don't waste your money on a damaged item!
I was looking forward to receiving this frame because it was meant to be a gift with a small print inside. When it arrived I was so shocked by the lack of quality, especially for the price. One, this frame came with several damaged areas in the wood including pieces missing from the sides making it uneven and a large hole on the front of the frame. This hole is not a natural knot in the wood, it looks more like a tool or something was dropped on the wood accidentally causing an indentation. Two, this frame doesn't come with any hardware to hand it. It doesn't have loops or hanging wire on it or anything/Three, it doesn't even come with real glass. It's a flimsy piece of thin plastic.Complete waste of money.

What a beautiful frame!
These frames are truly one-of-a-kind. I was very anxious to receive mine as I wanted a rustic frame for an Alaskan-vacation picture. This picture is very dear to me and I wanted a unique yet tasteful frame. I wish I'd bought it sooner. It's as if they were reading my mind. The naturalness of the colors and their variations in the wood made me say "wow" as soon as I opened the box. Carefully packed, it arrived in perfect condition. And by perfect, I mean undamaged. The cuts and corners of the frame may not be perfectly aligned as with generic, mass-produced frames, but its obviously made by had and these "imperfections" (and I use that term as a compliment) give the frame its awesome character. I definitely recommend the frame(s)......and would honestly pay more if I had to ;)

Amazing Customer Service and top rated company!!
Amazing customer service! I am aware of the rustic quality of these frames, but this one was a little too rough and fragile for my art this time. I contacted Frame USA and they immediately responded with a replacement frame and did not even require a return of the damaged one! I use this type of frame with my wildlife art, take a look, www.caroldeckerwildlifeartstudio.net and you will see how perfect FrameUSA frames suit my wildlife art style. Thank you Frame USA, I will be back. This is a top rated company in my book. Don't hesitate to order from them.

Wouldn’t recommend it
Was enthusiastic about this frame for a cool picture that I purchased. This is not a good value for the cost. The frame is slight, and appears fragile and delicate. I should have read the fine print, to learn that the frame doesn’t come with glass, but a very cheap plastic. The glare from every angle on the plastic is terrible, taking away from the very picture that I purchased the frame for. I will try to replace the cheap plastic with glass, but I’m not sure the delicate frame will accommodate a decent piece of glass. Quite disappointed.

Great frame for the money.
Great frame for the price. It came several days earlier than expected. The packaging was wet but the frame was well wrapped inside and wasn’t affected. The acrylic front was well wrapped and easy to prepare. All the hardware was there and it mounted easily. The frame itself is very lightweight. Easy to hang but would not take much to damage it. Watch out for splinters too!
