Dark areas yes but if in the sun for long periods of time when removed you will have a negative tattoo haha I only wear indoors sorry rockon

What are these made of?

The tattoo art work is painted on a material that looks like nylon. They stretch, a bit, and look real from across the room. The bigger the arm, the more realistic they look. I wore a pair to a Christmas Party, and people were shocked, because it was "totally out of character for me." For the money, they are great fun.

How would you say they look on 8-12 year olds

Depends how big their arms are. The sleeves look more realistic on my arms, than my wives. The material stretches, and the more it stretches, the more realistic it looks. But for five or six dollars, they are great fun. I wore them to a holiday part, and people were shocked that I had my arms tattooed, because "it was out of character" for me.

What are these used for

They're more of a novelty than anything. From just a few feet away they look real. I've taken pictures with them on and surprised friends. Inexpensive and good for their laugh and shock value.
