Love it!
After reading the many good reviews, I decided to buy this and was very happy with it. I'm 5'6" and a slim build. I put it in the washer on cold and the uniform fitted well. It is slightly more roomy in the chest area but it's OK as it allows movement. Slightly more tight around the waist and can ride up a little but you can always do the TNG "tug" down. A must do - just like in the TV show. The sleeves are super long. I had to tuck them up but no-one would ever know.Other than that, great material - zips from the back so you might need a little help in getting it on.All in all, I loved that I could get this uniform for such a low price. I had many complements. It was also just so COOL to be a Starfleet officer for the day!

Same as other reviews; (screen-accurate) short torso and long sleeves, but fits well otherwise
I'm 5'10", bust-waist-hips measurements are 40-33-40 respectively, and I'm comfortably wearing two (old & worn-out) sports bras in the pictures. I have a very slightly beefy build due to my physical job. I bought the medium and it actually fits quite comfortably, plus the fabric is soft enough that I was able to wear it directly against my skin without an issue, even as an autistic person with some sensitivity to certain textures. The fabric isn't overly stretchy but it's not uncomfortably rigid either. I snapped a friend of mine and in all seriousness he asked if I'd had it tailored, hah. He couldn't tell from the picture I sent him that, like the other reviews here all say, the torso is quite short and will try very hard to act like a crop top. I wore it to work for a few hours and was definitely doing the classic TNG pulling-the-shirt-down motion every few minutes. If I'd worn it for a less dynamic and physically active occasion I think it would have been fine. The sleeves are also slightly unusually long, especially in comparison to the short torso, but not inconveniently so. Granted I'm tall, so my limbs are proportionate to that. The shirt was a little difficult to get on and off myself, as the zipper is in the back (which is screen-accurate, so that's fine), so I recommend having someone around to help you get in and out of it.I will say that it came missing the communicator badge. This isn't much of an issue for me, as I intend to buy a different and nicer one based on other reviews anyway, but on principle it's a little crummy. I contacted the seller and did get a partial refund for that. The pips look excellent, although the black one (not pictured) has some slight imperfections that you would have to look pretty closely at to notice.Overall I'm very happy with this, especially for the price. Once I get a good looking communicator badge I think this will honestly become a staple of my everyday wear because frankly I enjoy fun.

Love it!!
I am a high school science teacher and bought this for school costume event. The shirt is very well put together with strong double stitching and what seems to be a relatively durable fabric (not something to be worn everyday, but I expect that it will hold up well over many wearings). As others have stated, the metal rank insignia tend to weight the collar down a bit, but because there is a double layer of fabric around the collar I was able to cut small slits in the inside of the collar, slide strips of heavy weight paper card stock into the collar and pin the pips through it. My modifications allowed the collar to stay up even with all four Captain pips. The fit seems to be authentic as well since I found myself performing the "Picard Maneuver" on numerous occasions. The included communicator badge pin is plastic, as stated in the description and seems a little cheap in comparison to the metal rank insignia, but it does look reasonably good. It is certainly possible that a heavier comm badge would pull down on the shirt and not allow it to lay flat against the wearer's chest, so perhaps the plastic pin is in fact the best choice.I received a large number of compliments and I highly recommend this costume.

Fun costume, could be better
I hardly ever buy costumes, but I've started going to Comic Con in recent years and I'm a big fan of "Star Trek: TNG." Seeing the costume pictured on the model it looked like a perfect replica of the "TNG" uniform, and to an extent it is, but it's kind of like the difference between a McDonald's hamburger as seen on TV and the one you get in the restaurant. What you see is not quite what you get.PROS:- Actual rank pips and communicator badge. Not sewn on or painted on. And with the pips you can choose your own rank. Very happy with their quality.- Easy on, easy off, and the stitching is very convincing and accurate to the TV show.CONS:- Fabric is thin and can't be ironed. I don't expect a costume to look like it came straight off the set, but it's still a bit disappointing.- The rank pips actually end up a little too heavy for the collar and pull it down a bit, so maybe I should demote myself to ensign. :)- The cost is too high given its quality, though I guess all licensed costumes and collectibles are like that. I had an Amazon gift card that knocked down the price by more than half, and I'm glad I did. I don't think it's worth the full price.FIT:Some specifics about my size and how well the costume fits me: I'm 6'2", about 180lbs, so I'm tall and slim. I bought a Large, which is the perfect length on the sleeve, a bit wide at the shoulders, and maybe a little short on the torso, though not so much that it causes a problem. A smaller size might have fit better on the shoulders, but also might have been too short everywhere else.OVERALL:Happy I bought this, and won't be returning it, but even though the accuracy is impressive its quality as a garment leaves something to be desired.

Looks good, but needs sized up.
These shirts actually look pretty good, but I recommend going a size up from what you normally wear. I checked the size guide, but the medium was still too tight around my waste. I ended up ordering a large (in a different color) and it fit much better.
