Just in Time for Easter From the Land Beyond Beyond ...
... comes this cute and cuddly Colossa-critter! Ray Harryhausen knew how to wring emotion out of inanimate objects like no one before or since, with the possible exception of the legendary Willis O'Brien, for whom Ray worked on the FX-Academy Award-winning (1949) MIGHTY JOE YOUNG. This adorable, small (the egg is a bit smaller than a chicken's egg in reality) figurine goes in my Easter display and will "hatch" every year on a prominent shelf. The figure comes out of the egg if you have any 54mm pirate or Sinbad Sailor figures to spear him. (Those scalawags got their just desserts after gorging themselves) - OOPS! Have I said too much? You HAVE seen this on BluRay? ... Just remember that this is an ADULT COLLECTIBLE made of delicate, perfectly-rendered and painted resin.So cute! So sad!

It's actually the roc baby from Harryhausen's "7th Voyage of Sinbad". Still, surprising to see a resin character from a 50+ year old movie!
