This product arrived in perfect condition and was the natural sheepskin rug that I was looking for (as described). No seems, no fakeness... nothing wrong. It's hard to tell what you're getting on-line... this is the real deal. Wouldn't think twice about ordering more, except how big and how many!

Very Nice! They’re made in China. However, they are excellent quality, and the packing that is sewn onto the hide is very nice also.

Wanted something pretty to put under a lounge chair on our new vinyl flooring. The rug is very thick and soft underfoot. I love the "look" of the irregular shape in the room! I have luxury vinyl flooring and put a "pad" between the rug and the floor to protect the floor "just in case." Plus, the chair on the rug is heavy, especially with someone sitting in it. So, I took the extra precaution. I've had this rug for a few weeks and absolutely LOVE it!

Almost all of my household rugs are made by SAFAVIEH. I own many 100% premium wool rugs made by them, and two genuine sheepskin rugs made by them. The sheepskins are: one 2x6 and one 2x8. I love all of my rugs EXCEPT for the sheepskin 2x8, purchased in December of 2023. This rug has not worn well, at all. When it was delivered, I noticed an area that seemed shorn very short - but it was small, so I decided to keep it. Unfortunately, less than 2 years later, the entire rug looks this way with foot traffic (that never includes shoes as all who enter my home must take off their shoes at my front door). Since the 2x6 rug is still nice and fluffy, this is a disappointment. For the time being I have laid the 2x6 rug over the 2x8 since the 2x6 sheepskin, which was purchased the year before (!) the 2x8 is still soft and fluffy.

I bought a 4'x6' from Safavieh 10 years ago and just received its replacement. I've slept on it every night and meditated on it every day. In short, I love it. It's the most comfortable surface I can imagine.Here's what you need to know. A sheepskin is just that, animal pelt(s). The 4x6 is four pelts sewn together. It will have a sheepskin smell, which will reduce over time. When it comes, it is rolled up and in a heavy clear poly sleeve, Open the end, not the side! This way if you need to return it, you can roll and slide it right back into the shipping sleeve.The dimensions you buy are approximate. It's a naturally variable product.You might prefer a medical sheepskin if you live in a hot climate. The fur on these is altered to make the hairs shorter.I think I will cover it with a bottom sheet from now on. It might last 20 years that way.

I got the 4x6 and it's perfect for my library chair. It's very warm and soft on the feet. I wouldn't trust putting it in a high traffic area it seems like it would just soak up mud and dirt. It's a cream color with yellow undertones. The color is giving more polar bear vibes. Unfortunately the cats are obsessed and have been attacking it, but still I haven't seen any shedding. It's actually very light. The backing is a kind of faux suede instead of leather

The rug is beautiful and plush, the color is just right, I am pleased with this product

Was hesitant when I read about odor in other reviews, but there is no odor to this item. It is 6x6 ft soft and padded. Lovely to sit or walk on. Variegated white to off-white in color. Highly recommend.
