Works great!
It took about an hour to replace the battery in my Garmin 410 after watching a few online tutorials, but I did it and it works once more! The battery lasts a long time and seems just as good as new. No complaints at all, very satisfied. For replacing the battery on the 410, you need to have some basic soldering skills; it took me quite a while to get it right. If you don't know how to solder, you can buy a kit here pretty cheaply and practice a bit before you do that change. It's probably worth it for a $400+ watch. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments and I'll try and respond promptly.

Not a genuine battery. Did not improve my Garmin Forerunner. :(
I bought this to replace the battery in my 7-year-old Garmin Forerunner 405 hoping to bring it back to life as some of the other reviews reported it did for theirs. When I received it, I noticed it did not have the required markings that the Genuine Garmin battery should have according to Garmin's website. We still decided to try it out. My husband spent over 2 hours soldering the new battery in. After replacing the battery and charging the watch up, I took it right off the charger and went for an 18 mile training run. Toward the end of my 3-hour run, it started alerting me of low battery. Sorry to say I was disappointed for wasting my time and money.

Battery came in a timely manner but just a heads up, you need someone who can specially install a new battery. A watch store cannot install it as you need some soldering done.

The new battery worked like a charm
The new battery worked like a charm. I installed it following video instructions that I Googled. Soldering the leads to the battery can be a bit tricky if you haven't soldered much lately. Be sure to have flux on hand to make the job easier. Dab a little on the leads attached to the battery to help the solder along. Looking forward to a few more years of running with my revitalized Garmin.

Garmin lost me
I spent nearly an hour replacing the battery, only to find that the new one was also giving a "low battery" signal. Rather than go through the hassle of replacing it again (Garmin won't do it for you), I threw both the watch and battery away, and replaced it with the Tom Tom Runner, which cost half as much but works much better

Requires soldering skills and tools
Non-traditional replacement process but fairly easy to accomplish with appropriate tools and regained the original performance of the watch. Recommended for those able to tackle the replacement procedure.
