Fantastic travel razor or everyday razor
I typically shave with a razor blade type of razor (aka DE razor). Now this method is great when I'm at home, but its not very convenient when travelling or staying away from home, as you need to take the soap, brush, razor, blades with you.So, I thought, a small electric/battery shaver would be ideal for me in these instances.I started looking around on Amazon, and eventually found this shaver. I read the reviews and it was highly rated and I noted the size of it, and thought it would be an ideal size for travel, as it would take up no room in my wash bag or suitcase. The shaver takes two AA batteries, which Philips claim should last 60 minutes. I primarily wanted a battery operated razor, as a rechargeable one would require me to take yet another cable with me on holiday. And also, with the razor only getting used occasionally, the rechargeable batteries can become temperamental if left for long periods of time unused. And also, I would be tied to a wall socket with a mains razor and not all hotel bathrooms have the two prong shaver lead style wall socket, or other wall socket due to the damp environment of a bathroom.I went to London recently for a holiday and took this razor with me, and it was absolutely everything I wanted. I got a good shave (obviously not as good as a DE razor, so it's unfair to compare them) and perfectly acceptable for a clean shaven look. I spent around 5 minutes (maybe slightly less) on my shave and this razor done a good job and I had no irritation and the shave was comfortable with no tugging or pulling, despite me not shaving for 3 or 4 days. The razor was very easy to hold, due to its compact size and shape. The razor comes with a travel pouch, and this is the only thing I have a complaint with. While this travel pouch is hard enough to protect the shaver when travelling. It is virtually too small to hold both the razor and the brush. I ended up, putting the brush underneath the razor, and then trying to close the zip, but this makes the zip very difficult to close, and I would guess, that doing this, would soon burst the zip. For Christ sake Philips, what idiot thought to make the travel pouch only large enough to hold the razor and not the brush. In the end to stop the fear of bursting the zip, I put the brush in my wash bag, but really this shouldn't have needed to be done, as the travel pouch should have been large enough to hold the brush as well as the razor. To sum up:If you want a small but effective shaver for either travel, or even everyday use, then I can highly recommend this shaver, and it's a great price to.

Light, small and effective but could be better designed for travel
This is a simple, light shaver with two heads, powered by AA batteries (not included). Can't comment on battery life as I've had it for only a week or so. I intend to move from disposable to rechargeable batteries. The shaver works well and gives a reasonably good shave. However, it could be better designed for travel, which is its stated application. There is no case to house shaver and brush. The shaver is curved, which makes it comfortable to hold but less space-efficient for travel. The protective cover for the shaver heads comes off far too easily. What is needed is a straightforward quasi-rectangular shape and a hard case with integrated slot for the brush and possibly a built-in mirror - as with an old Braun travel shaver I once had. I have to keep brush and shaver in a bag. The brush is likely to get lost before too long. In summary: a decent small shaver offering fair value for money but which could be better designed for travel. It merits 4 stars in my opinion.

GREAT WEE SHAVER
As I am the one who now has to shave my disabled husband, I'm finding this the best shaver I have tried. It gives the closest shave from all the the others, ranging from cheap handheld rechargeable to more expensive electric ones. definitely 5* from me.

Terrific little Shaver!
Don't let the price fool you, this little AA batt powered Shaver is quite the beast for a clean shave.Like all rotary Shavers iy takes a week for your face to adjust to this style.Philips have addressed this and the shaving heads are made so to lesson skin irritation.Of course it's a different way of shaving, so pulling and positioning the area is something you learn very easily. The build quality is adequate for the job, and feels solid in the hand.As you do your face you'll feel little areas you've missed, and it's quite satisfying going over them and then feeling smooth.I'm sending back a three headed Shaver which should out perform it, instead this two headed ultra portable Shaver does the job ten time better, and cutting down the areas the larger one can't cut.Look, this is a no brainer, if you want a good Shaver without costing a fortune, this will be the one to buy!
F**!
I will say the same, as my previous review on this very similar if not the same products.
Before you purchase the £21 version of this shaver Which is the exact same model PQ20618. I would purchase, this one, as it is the time I bought it, was £16.99. Still no carrying pouch. As some of the other reviewers say it has a carrying bag. Now for the shaver. Not bad, for a cheap battery shaver. However. Check if you get a new and not used version. As it two that I purchased. Assume that they have possibly been used before. Very sorry for any spelling mistakes. It is, I am a blind person. And I have to use dictation on the iPhone.

Now Missing Components
I have bought a couple of these over the years. All of them up until the most recent came with a small carry case and batteries. However now they no longer come with either off these two items. The shave itself works well.
