AN-80 Shortwave Reel Antenna FM SW External Antenna Whip Antenna to Improve Signal Reception Suitable for FM SW Radio

I've used this antenna extension to bring in far away FM and Short Wave stations. I've tried it on a couple of different radio's and it works great. Good value for the money and fast shipping. You should buy one to clip to your own radio's antenna especially in case of emergency. Oh, and my truck has a vertical rod type antenna and when I'm parked somewhere, I can clip this antenna extension to bring in extra AM or FM stations. It works!It's easy and fast to reel back into it's portable case with just a finger. I sincerely recommend it.

It is a good product at a good price. It is priced as much as 50% less than products that look identical from other sources/manufacturers. The inclusion of the whip antenna connector cable and the phono antenna plug end for the radio ant receptacle are good inclusions. Basicly it is 30 feet of hookup wire. The value comes from the way it stores and releases the wire and the 2 types of connections to the radio. Other than that no difference electrically/magnetive between it and 30 feet of antenna wire. Good value for an inexpensive cost.

I bought this to go with a XhData D109 it worked great, Even cooler is that it attaches to any Antenna. It boosted shortwave reception quickly, and even helped pick up more Fm as well. It quite literally is a very long antenna in your pocket, and once you get a hang of retracting it, it only takes a few seconds to stow it away for the next use. I've used the antenna longer then the radio I bought it for, I would certainly recommend it if you need a boost for your radio signal, especially shortwave.

I use this antenna with the D-328 by the same brand and love it. Clamps on the antenna and it really is fun to use. As good or better as the expensive one that they advertise on Coast To Coast AMQuality build, great for all bands. Perfect size. Great buy if you are on a budget. Would be a great gift too.
