CTM Leather Soft Eyeglass Case with Holster Clip

The idea behind this case is just what I wanted for my husband, who carries his glasses in a case clipped onto the neck of his t-shirt. The glasses were always falling out, so the flap on this one looked like the perfect solution. The case is VERY soft, actually floppy soft, and the clip is extremely stiff and rigid. The problem is that there is no way to clip the case to anything without a lot of force, so there is no way to do it while the glasses are inside unless you want to bend or break them. He couldn't even get the clip onto a thin belt without bending the clip a bit. I'm not sure where the manufacturer intended the case to be clipped, but it won't clip onto a regular belt or the neck of a shirt. The good news is that once you get it clipped on, it stays there. Our solution was to insert a more rigid case inside this very soft one and then fasten the flap over everything.

Even though I would have preferred something a bit narrower than this, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the actual dimensions of the case are a little smaller than advertised. The case is not an exact rectangle; it's narrower in the middle than at the top and bottom of the case. The top of the case is 3.25", the middle is 3", and the bottom is 3.5". The width when empty is closer to 0.5".The item is good quality, but I'm only giving it 4 stars because the seam at the top does interfere a little with removing the glasses from the case (although I'm not sure what could be done about it). Also, the rivet used to attach the belt clip could scratch the lens. My solution to that was to put a little square of duct tape over it - nobody can see the inside of the case anyway.

Case is soft and feels well made. As some reviews pointed out there is an exposed metal rivet _inside_ the pouch. This could scratch the lens of a pair of glasses. If you remember to put glasses in the pouch with the lenses outward you should be fine. Regardless, this is a pretty bad oversight. Another reviewer complained of a label inside the pouch. Not an issue; just remove it. For me the biggest issue is the belt clip. The spring clip is way too tight. It takes two hands and a fair amount of effort to it on or off your belt. While it will certainly be secure it is almost more trouble than it is worth. I feel like I'm being generous in giving this product three stars

GREAT PRODUCT. Extremely well stitched. Velcro is professionally added and trimmed neatly (not too much Velcro is often the situation with many product). The leather is beautiful. I chose black and it look fantastic. The interior leather is very soft and the overall cut & design is top knotch. The metal clip looks and feels like military-grade. This is an extremely well-made product.One other thing... these people are very friendly & professional in their Email correspondence. Sheryl was EXTREMLELY FAST to reply to my inquiry. Found the product, which the USPS had delivered and I'm very impressed with the case & Mountain Top Leather!

I like this holder because of the metal clip. I bought the cheaper vinyl case before but found that the clip was plastic and it broke off. This clip will not break. It holds very securely to my belt and I don't worry about the case falling off. The cheap vinyl case fell off numerous times before the clip broke off. Just sitting down could push the case off my belt. The leather is nice. The only thing I would change is to make it a hard case to give better protection to my glasses.

I ordered this case intending to use it to hold your basic magnifier reading glasses on my belt while at work. The order was filled promptly and delivered ahead of schedule. The case is pretty much as pictured in the photo. The material is nice and soft as described. There is really not much to like in this glasses case except that it is soft leather. First the spring steel clip that is "designed' to clip on a pocket or something will only work on a thin shirt it that. From an engineering standpoint the spring still its far too strong and takes two hands to open even enough to get onto a shirt pocket. Unfortunately the design is too large to allow it to fit in a pocket (even my 2x large shirts). The size is dictated by the 1/4 thick seams on the inside of the case which when you put your glasses in bind on the arms and make it difficult to pull out ( the extra large label inside the case doesn't help).I had great hops for this case but it is simply not worth the money.- it is one of those items that twill last a lifetime because it not very useable.

I was looking for a case for my sunglasses. Most glass cases have a weak clip which allows the case to slip off at inopportune times. This case has a very strong metal clip which holds it on the belt very well. However, the interior of the case has two leather protrusions that keep hanging up the glasses when I try to withdraw them and could scratch the lenses as well. If the leather was stitched in such a way that the protrusions inside were gone, I'd definitely give the case five stars.

I purchased this to hold prescription safety glasses with the intention that it would be attached to my shop apron. The main thing is that it was big enough to hold the bulky safety specs and offer them good protection. The leather is thick and supple and the case is very well made and finished. The belt or in my case pocket clip is attached in such a way as to ensure there is nothing in the case that could scratch the specs. Top item.

Again fantastic purchase and as I stated when I purchased my other glass case holder this item on a scale of 1 to 10 is also a 20. If I require any type of leather item that is produced or available by CTM I would not hesitate in purchasing it. Very impressive product and I am super satisfied that I purchased them. I am a very cautious buyer and spend my money wisely ans I swear that if you are having 2nd thoughts about making a purchase you will not be disappointed.

The black leather is truly soft and the workmanship looks durable. Delivery was prompt which was great because it was ordered during the month of December !

couldn't find one for the shirt pocket, had to move the clip to the other side.
