Thought the camera was bigger than it really is.
There is no book for information of the camera on how to get the most of it and servicing. Hope this can be provided by the seller

Fair camera with great zoom
It's an OK camera. For the price I would expect more megapixels but it's OK. The zoom is quite good and the controls are all right. I'm still figuring out how to use it beyond auto mode. If you want to really get into photography I would recommend better, whether it be canon or someone else.

Feels cheaply made in your hands.
I got this yesterday and it works. By that, it does take pretty nice photos. It’s Reasonably easy to use. The shake thing is a bit of pain, but overall it’s a nice Camera. But for 300.00 I would have expected better. It is all plastic. It’s too lightweight and just feels fragile in your hands. My previous version of this was an 8 megapixel cannon Powershot and It felt sturdy when held.I was debating on this Powershot SX420 or the EOS Rebel t7. We are going to Alaska and I was wanting a point and shoot that was small and EZ to use. For those of you that have enjoyed the older more durable cameras from Cannon, this will be a disappointment.

Bought refurbished, shipped broken.
I bought a refurbished camera a while ago and had to return it because said camera was in shape, but broken on the inside. When I had gotten it out of the box, the first thing I realized is that the lens wouldn't sit in the camera and actually wasn't connected to the camera. When I turned it on, the camera's motor would hit against the lens and make an awful sound. Because of the specific model of camera this is, you can't replace the lens by taking it out completely. So, I basically got a broken camera and had to ship it back to Digital Valley, the third party seller that I got the camera from.
