These arrived on time and I was instantly pleased. The colors are really nice , love the border .I washed them first thing and because so many have said they shrunk, i was watching for that result. I washed in cold water and dried as usual and if they shrunk it can’t be by much. I haven’t measured them but they are still a sufficient size to be a proper napkin for dinner or any meal really.I just wish they had more colors so i could order different ones next!!

Update 1 yr later:Adding a starI ended up liking these over the past year more than I expected. It's still fairly lightweight fabric, but they do the jobOriginal:These are about as expected. They aren't too quality but I wanted some napkins for a cross country camping trip. These are good for using under metal camp bowls to keep your hands from getting too warm while you carry them or hold them to eat. And the patterns are fine and will camouflage food stains etc. They suit our need well enough.

Makes for a happy table! Lovely patterns and colors. An assortment of patterns means you do not need a personalized napkin ring! Everybody can recognize their own place setting, even when its rolled up on the sideboard. And because these are not paper, they are not disposable; it saves trees, and keeps carbon out of the sky and air, and rooted in the earth where it does good for growing things. You do not have to launder the napkins after every meal, unless it was a crazy, delicious spaghetti fest, so you don't waste water or energy either. Just fold them up, or roll them around the rolled up place mat and leave it on the table or pile them in a basket.

We use them as napkins and they are such fun colors. I think they are good examples of Indian block printing and make good conversation pieces.these are quite thin material and are very soft.

These lovely cotton cloth napkins were advertised as 24 cotton napkins for (on sale at the time) $13.99. I placed one order and received only 10 napkins, which I thought was still a pretty good price. I decided not to call Amazon to complain about the false advertisement and I went ahead and ordered a second set of 24 napkins for $13.99, as they were still on sale. The second time I received only 8 napkins for $13.99 and I decided that I'd call Amazon to let them know that something is wonky with this item or this seller. Later that day, I went to look at the item description and there they are now advertising 10 cotton napkins for $18.99.I just find this a little annoying and ridiculous how these sellers can play with the price and description from one day to the next. Although they are lovely, I don't like be toyed with regarding pricing and quantity. Haven't decided yet if I'll send both orders back or not and then repurchase from a more reputable seller.
