Great airbrush. The pac valve was leaking air on mine which caused it to send air through the nozzle and into the cup. Being that they send a cap to the valve channel (the small black screw) I screwed that into it and it works fine. I'm sure you can put some teflon tape on the larger screw if you want to use the pac valve or contact Badger and they will send another one. I've heard of this occurring on some of them. It's an easy fix though and the detail this airbrush is capable of far outweighs such a trivial thing such as this. You can always get an independent mac valve that screws onto the hose and cap off the valve on the airbrush.

Wow! This is nice. No clogging, easy to clean and sexy looking. I was ready to give up airbrushing with the junk Amazon guns and harbor freight pot metal clog bucket crap. Spend the extra money and enjoy airbrushing!!

These are strait up used airbrushes . I have retuned one because of clear damage on the nozzle from pliers . There is paint stuck everywhere and were dirty . I'm not paying full price for used product . To top it off the pic shows a plastic case with hinges I got both of mine In a box . This is a strait scam where you pay full price for used product!

I was hesitant buying this after watching YouTube videos with people loving the brush, but complaining about valve leak with the front valve. Yup, it does leak and a design flaw. But it’s very minor. The airbrush feels great and is very responsive. The small valve preinstalled is actually a plug, and it’s already leaked on me. The larger one is for if you want to regulate the air.With its flaws, I’d still buy it again. Badger isn’t perfect but I’ll buy more brushes from them.

I had an issue with my Patriot X-treme and I contacted Spray Gunner. They didn’t give me any runaround. They said please return it and they sent another out ASAP. Spray Gunner listened and fixed the problem. Thank you for your professionalism and fast service. I will definitely buy from Spray Gunner again.

Great for detailing. Need caution with the protruding needle. With there were a few more threads on the nozzle connection

Something is suspect with the manufacturing of this brush. After just 15 days the air valve (#50-013) stopped working properly leaving air into the brush intermittently. I just ordered a new air valve and searched everywhere to find what is the hex size to open the one I have now to no avail. No info anywhere, some say it's 1mm hex, but there is no such hex size in metric systems (0.9 is the closest). The pressure adjusting screw leaks, so I will be patching it with teflon tape as well. Overall, for the price and being manufactured in the USA, I'm sorely disappointed. It has been a struggle all the way.Update: Called Badger company and they were extremely helpful. For reference the hex key of the valve is .05 inches. I ordered the hex keys and will open the valve to check. If too damaged they will mail me a new valve.Last update: Returned it. Too much trouble with the air valve even after replacing it. Got a Badger Krome instead and it has been so far the best airbrush I had. Better than my Iwata Eclipse, which surprised me.

Ive only been using this product for a few weeks now, but I can say that from all the reviews I have read, and all the youtube videos I have seen on this particular brand (Badger airbrushes), This airbrush is a workhorse and is my go to airbrush for most basic needs. I may buy more dedicated airbrushes later for specific jobs, but I can already tell this airbrush is going to last a while, and take a lot of punishment getting there.Im happy with this purchase.
