The paint has a few imperfections, which look off with these patterns. Look a bit like scratches, but arn't. Hope to stop noticing them.

Excellent as serving bowls for 2-3 people as well as generous portions of soup.

I bought these because I make gargantuan salads and am tired of eating out of plastic containers. I found these bowls and you can’t beat the size, they are not hand wash only (busy mom here, ain’t got time for that), and they looked pretty.WELL, they are STUNNING. I was beyond elated when I opened the package. I couldn’t hide these away. So within a minute I took these non functional cheesy decorative plates off my wall and replaced with these bowls. I am going to use them and display them. I eat massive salads at least once daily so I’ll be buying another set to make sure I always have three on display.If you are on the fence BUY these. You will not be disappointed. And they look like they cost a fortune!

I have been looking for dinner bowls that would work well for noodle soups and even pasta dishes. I wanted something that had a mixture of patterns and was durable and well made. I finally ordered these bowls even though they were a higher price than I originally had in mind. They arrived quicker than was stated. The packaging was on the light side so I was concerned before I opened the package that they would all be undamaged. Not only were they not damaged they are beautiful! I love them and they are perfect. I am so glad I ordered these and I just now ordered another four so I have a completed set for guests. These are well worth the money and I would highly recommend them to others.I received the second order for this set and they arrived in perfect condition. I am very happy with my purchase. They are great dinner bowls and beautiful.

I just got these bowls today and they are so pretty! The designs are elegant, the size is great, and the raised design on the outside makes them easier to handle and wash without slipping. I measured 3 1/2 cups of water into the bowl which left about 3/4 of an inch clearance to the rim. I'm sure you could get 4 cups in if you have steady hands for carrying a very full bowl to the table. I can't testify to how durable they are since I haven't used them yet. If a problem arises with chips or they break easily, I'll write another review. A YEAR LATER: Cheap ceramic bowls will chip easily. These get used on a regular basis and so far, no chips. That's a sign that they were fired at a high temperature. I love the design on them and the size is great. Got a set as housewarming gift for a friend. They love them, too.
