Kameya 100percent Hon Wasabi, 1.48 oz from Shizuoka, Japan

I tried this wasabi along with some horseradish based wasabi and the Kameya Hon Wasabi won the taste test hands down. It has a very potent wasabi flavor with a lot less nasal burn. It is expensive compared to the horseradish based products but you get what you pay for. In my opinion, I think it is worth the cost and I will definitely be buying again.

Was an excellent wasabi for my fresh Tuna. Gives a wonderful wasabi flavor and very little horseradish kick. I loved it and will order it again.

It is the real deal and delicious!! I put on almost everything- real wasabi and not horseradish. I wish they made this is a 3 pack. A++

The Hon Wasabi is really good and expensive for the small portion you get in the tube. I think it's overpriced, but well worth it for the flavor.

I'm not a wasabi connoisseur, this was my first purchase. When it was time to order again, I couldn't help but wonder if the other half-the-price, (now only 1/3 the price) real wasabi offered on Amazon was simply a better "deal" than this product? What I got from that cheaper product was half the burn (heat). Since I'm not a connoisseur, I'll be fine using the other brand at twice the rate.

Might have subtle wasabi flavors but not enough to be different than the cheaper stuff, my expectations might have been to great.
