Mr. Perfect: A Mister Standalone: The Mister Series, Book 1

Mr. Perfect is just the beginning and I believe the mysterious future Mr. books are going to explode!
Reading great books is my personal escape from my very ordinary world. I embrace the stories because they are very different from my personal life. They are my entertainment.Mr. Perfect by J. A. Huss is an erotic romance novel. It is the combination of fantasy, romance, and an entertaining story. It is purely fiction and not intended to be perceived as a reality. It is meant to engage and entertain the readers. It is meant to leave them with a good reading experience and a few emotional delights.Mr. Perfect starts out with a lusty bang. It’s an office romance that starts out as a purely misconceived sexual encounter.Ellie Hatcher has worked for Stonewall Entertainment for seven years. Her job is to take care of the celebrities appearing on the various shows. She is a master at her job. The celebrities love her. Day in and day out she does the same thing and does it without much fuss. She is a valued professional even though she hasn’t climbed the Stonewall Entertainment corporate ladder. She has other dreams and aspirations for success in life. Stonewall Entertainment is merely a stepping stone to the future. It’s the typical Wednesday at Stonewall Entertainment until a spoiled, self absorbed rockstar is scheduled to appear on one the prime shows. He’s demanding and a bit eccentric. Ellie is used to his demands but slips up when she forgets about the peanut butter sandwich in her purse. She forgot he had a peanut allergy. She almost killed him. That is just the beginning of the worst day of her life.Ellie’s bad day turns even more disastrous. An unscheduled jet appears in the hanger and it is not the former boss that she used to fantasize about. It appears she has a new boss, Macallister Stonewall. When she gets summoned to the main corporate headquarters, she knows she’s about to be fired. Instead she is promoted. She’d rather stay down in the lowly hanger away from her new sexy boss. With the promotion comes a handsy boss that is getting her naughty text messages that were sent to her former boss that is not supposed to be able to receive her messages because he no longer has that phone. The problem is the new boss has the phone and is playing games with her. Rather than be subjected to the game, she quits and tries to make her escape from Stonewall Entertainment. Let’s just say rather than getting out of the building, she’s captured by her boss who refuses her resignation. His negotiating techniques are downright thrilling but not enough to change her mind until she remembers he has damaging texts and pintrest boards. She has to get the phone back before she leaves Stonewall.Mac and Ellie engage in some fantastic sexcapades at the office but then things start to change from fun and flirty to a more committed sensual relationship. Ellie still plans on leaving Stonewall but Mac is determined to keep her.MacAllister Stonewall is Mr. Perfect. On the surface the man is everything one would expect in perfection. The problem is Mr. Perfect is far from the title. He has a mysterious past that has been erased. He’s hiding a lot of secrets. He’s selling off Stonewall Entertainment without justification or reason. He’s determined to keep Ellie within reach but refuses to open up to her. When I started this book I was instantly drawn into Ellie’s world. When the sexcapades begin between Ellie and Mac, I was thinking oh boy that is a big no no. This crosses the line of sexual harassment in the work place. It crosses the lines of moral ethics. Then I pushed those thoughts out of my head because I remembered this is fiction, this is pure fantasy romance meant to entertain. On a scale of one to ten on the heat index, this book was a solid nine. But then the J. A. Huss special magic took over the book. The book became more than an erotic romance, it became an erotic mystery with very complex characters.J. A. Huss is known for writing erotic romances that involve mystery, intrigue, and suspense. She’s known for building complicated plots that evolve through several books. The plots take twist and turns that keep the readers glued to the pages and committed to all the books connected in the plot. Mr. Perfect is just the beginning and I believe the mysterious future Mr. books are going to explode!

She's all NO and he's all YES
I love the idea of this series, five books, five misters: Perfect, Romantic, Corporate, Mysterious and Match.I was belly roll laughing by nine percent, furrowing my eyebrows by fourteen percent and slack-jawed at fifteen percent. These are the moments I’ve come to look forward to in a J.A. Huss novel, I expect them and I love them; laughter, confusion and surprise.Eloise Hatcher is a dreamer. She uses her imagination to create a life she wishes she was living while she spends her days as a glorified babysitter to the rich and famous. Collecting pictures of her dream life and creating Pinterest Boards to reflect her fantasies, she sends her collections to her crush; who just happens to be her former boss, who’s out of the country to which the messages are undeliverable. What’s the harm in sending dozens of messages to no one who’s listening, it’s cathartic and it’s her outlet. Until one day the messages are delivered.‘I go back to my Pinterest board and add a few more pics of him.’Mr. Perfect is so very far from perfect. He’s demanding, secretive, raunchy, angry, lonely, sad, funny, generous, thoughtful, protective but not perfect. I loved him! I loved how upside down he was in Ellie from the very minute his eyes land on her.‘McAllister looks straight at me and he winks. ‘’Message received, Ellie.’’This book was really a fun read. She’s all NO and he’s all YES.‘I’m not dating you.’ ‘I have news for you, Miss Hatcher. You are dating me. And this is date number one. I took you here, you got gifts, a little foreplay, and it counts as one.’…’What do I have to lose?’ she says. ‘Except my dignity.’’Note on the sex. If you are not a sex person, skip the scenes, you won’t miss anything major. The sex isn’t overly hard but if saliva dripping off chins and anal isn’t your thing, don’t worry, you will still enjoy this one. Is there a lot of sex? Yes. Does it start early? Yes. Does it overshadow the story? I didn’t think so. And to the naysayers on the butter scene, get a grip people! Ellie always says no, Mac always says yes and she loves it. If she were to actually say no with meaning he would have pulled the reins in, it’s obvious he cares about her and wants her to enjoy herself and have fun. In fact he says it...‘It’s dirty. It’s fun. And she will never look at a pad of butter the same again.’Ellie’s response: ‘She lets out a long moan.’I don’t know about Ellie, but I certainly will never look at a pad of butter the same again. This book was fast, furious, sexy and hilarious. It was an easy read that made me smile and laugh. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists that came with a fairly predictable story line, making it so much better than your run-of-the-mill secretive, aggressive boy meets and seduces plays-hard-to-get flighty, dreamer girl. Dialogue, lots of talking going on between these two and the side characters, I love that! I have little desire to spend my time reading character thoughts, I want witty dialogue, I got it. It wasn’t all laughs though there is a serious undertone to the pages here and I will definitely be reading book two, Mr. Romantic. The plot thickens and oh, how that excites me. It has a reminiscent feel of her earlier series, Rook and Ronin not the storyline but the character dynamic. Since I love characters that intertwine this is sure to be a hit for me.

wow
This is my second read of this story. Loved that he start, when he thought he was getting text from one Ellie, but it ended up being two. How their chemistry was on the moment they met. How all of her names she had given people actually made them laugh when it all came out. How he waited for her and made their dreams come true, with a sheepdog and a house, just loved it.Narration was superb.

Awesome story
This was a fun flirty book with the H having a mysterious past. I'll be honest I hate billionaire romances I don't know why but I do, but somehow JA Huss makes me love everything she writes haven't hated a book yet so i'm not surprised that she made me love this office/billionaire romance. She's able to make all kinds of different genres interesting even if it's not your kind of read. So take a chance and get this book it's a hot start to what i'm expecting to be an awesome new series.

Mr Perfect is Perfect !
Mr. Perfect is the first in a series of standalone reads following a group of long time friends, this being the first of five.I read this at just the right time, it was a funny, laugh out loud, read with plenty of smut.Mr Perfect is well just perfect ! We all need a Mr Perfect like him in our life …I won’t see butter in the same way now because of you JA Huss, it cracks me up when I read about it. What were you thinkning when you wrote that scene…were you actually eating butter !!!!Written in dual points of views, with chapters from both Ellie’s and Mac’s perspectives, I did get some insight to them, but they were a bit guarded even within their own chapters – especially Mac didn’t let anything slip until everything came out in the open without any help from him. The present tense also works to keep that mysterious past at bay, as well as Ellie’s plans for the future.I can’t wait to read the other four of the serie.

Leseempfehlung!
