Philips Respironics Shielded DC Cord for DreamStation CPAP

The energy saved by this cord was the difference between only a small percentage of generator battery power being used over 6 hours, whereas perhaps 1/3 of the battery power would have been used if the AC cord on the DreamStation had been plugged into the battery power. I was not sure wether to order this and if it was going to be working with my Dreamstation. I thought that I would have to buy either a special portable Cpap machine or buy a special battery to be able to use the Cpap machine while camping off the grid. It has been almost 2 years since I bought the cable and have been running it on all jackery batteries as low as the 240w model: it takes about 8 watts an hour without the humidifier. It took 14% of the 300w battery last night which is approximately 42 watts. And I slept for about 7-8 hours. I highly recommend this cable - it is a life changer.! Regarding the battery - I prefer to be at the 300W neighborhood as it gives me the possibility to run it for almost a week

Use this when dry camping with camper trailer. Skips inverting to 110 only to get back to 12v... makes battery last longer. Great to know its a durable medical equipment grade, and was only a couple bucks more than a knock-off brand.

This works perfectly with my wifes cpap machine. I picked up a 35 amp hour agm battery to power the unit and that in combination with this power cord has allowed us to go tent camping at non-electric sites. The amp draw on the cpap is low enough that the battery easily runs three long days without requiring a recharge. BTW the agm battery only weighs around 10 pounds, doesn't spill regardless of position which makes it easy whild camping.

I purchased this item so that I can run my CPAP when sleeping on a 12 day motorcycle ride where we will be camping. I have tested it for one night to make sure the combination of things I have work together (Using with this: ASIN B075SSMR6K.) This adapter worked perfectly. Came with 2 spare fuses.Please note that this thing is HEAVY. I wouldn’t want to backpack with this setup.Also note: You really want to use this cable when using a DreamStation; otherwise, the CPAP will drain the power of the battery pack very fast.

Used this with an alligator clip adapter on a deep cycle marine battery for my cpap. Save yourself a lot of money: use this with the other adapter and a deep cycle battery for $100, and bypass the cpap batteries. You'll save hundreds of dollars, and get many, many, MANY nights of full cpap coverage from one charge, instead spending $300-$400 for a piece of equipment that only gives you 1-2 nights of good sleep.

We needed a DC cord to use with my husband's CPAP machine for camping. He has a Phillips one and this works perfectly. Some believe the price is too much but I believe it's well worth it for me to be able to get some sleep. 😂 We paired it with a 330 watt generator that may be charged via ac or off the car battery. Would definitely buy again!

Im a trucker and need to use my Bi-pap machine to be legal to drive my semi. I didn't want to have to install an expensive pure sinewave inverter in my truck to power my machine because if my truck ever is in the shop I would have to use a loaner truck and couldn't power my machine. This cord would have cost me $80 plus at my local Bi-pap supply store. Its a pretty simple review, it just works and is very affordable.

It was exactly what I needed for my Phillips Dreamstation 2 CPAP machine while I was camping for a week.

I have been struggling for years with my other cpap cable to try to make it work. It's only with Canadian Cpap Supply careful description of the product that I finally got everything working as it was ment to be. THANK YOU Ccpap.

Got it to use my cpap camping.Ordered the Jackery 300w battery also. Works well. Tried it with my Phillips Responics and it's great. After two nights there is still 75% battery left.Without tube or water heated the cpap only uses 6w per hour. A great combination.

Now I do not have to run the generator all night, as the batteries keep it going perfectly!
