Tight, but they're supposed to be
These are great and now my favorite bibs. Material is high quality, and the pad is very comfortable on the road, gravel or even light singletrack (on my Cutthroat). As for the fit, I'm 5'10", 165lbs, 30" inseam and 38.5" hips (long torso). I have some Castelli Espresso bibs that I purchased in Medium per the size chart a few months ago. The Espresso's feel very tight and I almost returned them, but contacted Castelli who confirmed that they were designed that way, to feel like a second skin. While riding, they do feel great and are very comfortable. The only minor issue is that, with my longer torso, I feel like the shoulder straps are almost stretched to the limit (I don't notice when riding, though). So, when I got these Endurance 3's, I sized up to a Large. They still fit tight, but comfortably so and not restrictive at all. It's not quite the 'second skin' feel as the Espresso's, but the fabric also feels more rugged. I'll definitely pick up another set if/when they go on sale again.

My favorite so far
Have only been using these a few weeks. But these are definitely a favorite for me. I have typically just used cheaper bibs as I didn't want to spend much for the time I was on the bike. But have tried a couple of more expensive sets as I've been increasing my riding time. These are significantly more comfortable than previous sets I've owned. Same pad as their high end bibs. I ordered based on their size chart and they are very snug. However, the chamois is very comfortable and I have found the snugger fit to be more comfortable during my time on the bike. And either I'm getting more used to the fit or they are stretching some.

WAY too small
WAY too small. I ordered up one size more than normal and would have needed two more sizes up to be close. A 3XL is probably a real world Medium. Product seemed to be of decent quality otherwise. I wish it would have worked out.

Believe it, order TWO sizes larger than their size table.
I used the size table they provide for calculating my specific size.According to that table, my size was "M". I ordered "L" to be on the safe side. When I received it, I found it a little bit tight but usable. I decided to wear it anyway on a short ride and the feeling was just OK on the bottom but the upper part was mildly uncomfortable.I am sure the "XL" would've been a better choice. I won't return it because I don't feel it is right after having used it a few times. But don't you make the same mistake. It is a quality garment overall and the chamois is made of really high tech materials. However I think the sizing they use is geared towards competition and gives prevalence to aerodynamics over comfort.

Perfect Bib.
Great fit. Super comfortable padding. Great investment.

Nice, but order 2 sizes up
Chamois is good, size is WAY too small. as other reviews state: Order 2 sizes up! I am 6'1" and 190 lb and sizing said L or XL. I normally wear L, even in Castelli jackets. But XL was too small: Legs way too tight. Returned, but price went up $40 in the 3 days since 1st order, so did not buy again.

Best bib so far!!
before anything, I am a Large. I bought X-Large and it was still too tight. I then ordered XXL and its the perfect fit.I had purchased the low priced bibs and shorts for cycling before. Believe me, what you pay is what you get. Castelli bib is amazingly comfortable for long rides and the fabric is magnificent. Wicks sweat and the shorts never move up, just stays. Highly recommend it.

Way too small, especially if you're on the taller side
I'm 6'2" and measured in between a M and L by the size chart, so decided to go with a L. It was too small. The shoulder straps dug painfully into my shoulders and the legs were so tight circulation was cut off and my legs started going numb almost instantly. I've owned many pairs of bib shorts by different manufacturers, so I know how they should fit. They should be tight, but not painful like these. All other bib short brands I own are a size L or smaller. I'm not sure what person Castelli is designing their shorts for, but they didn't measure them for the size chart. I am not super athletically built and would say my thighs are on the thinner side, but these were just uncomfortably tight. I was in pain almost instantly in my groin and shoulders. I would try a larger size, but I have a feeling I would still not order large enough. I'm going to try and find them locally instead so I can try before buying, or just get another brand altogether. The overall quality seemed nice though, especially the chamois. It was dense in the right places without being bulky. The shoulder straps are the older mesh style that twist up when donning and dug in painfully being too short. Stitching was even and strong and style was nice. I just wish the size chart was more accurate and included height. If you're on the shorter side, the chart will probably be accurate for you, but you still may want to order at least a size up from where you measure.
