Q: Has anyone worn them without any other protection? If so how did they do?

I no longer have periods but have begun to experience light bladder leakage. I wear these without any kind of pad to protect from those events and they work perfectly *without* the pad.

You would need to wear pads with these. For me, I use them in replacement of panty liners which they work alright for. They aren't spectacular or anything. But they get the job done! I feel like you would definitely still need to wear a pad with these.

Q: Im 5'5 & 131lbs, with ample backside should I get the large?

I’m 5’4 130 and I normally wear size 5 undies and I got a small. But I don’t have much in the back. They’re stretchy too. I love these! Not sure if Large would be the size for you or not. But it seems they are excellent with returns. Great company!
