Q: Will this cable work on a evinrude 115hp v4

Depends on the year. I installed this on a 1999 Johnson 150hp outboard. Looks to be much sturdier than the original. Fit & works perfectly.

The adjuster disc is part of the cable.

Q: will this work for 1992 evinrude 25hp outboard?

Will that work for your engine throttle or shift cable, yes. But you will need a Johnson / Evinrude / OMC control from 1979 and newer or one of our controls that can use 479 style cables.
