From previous reviews, I was prepared to like them less than I do.
I had to wait until it finally rained. Though I read in several reviews that fogging is an issue, I didn't mind it too much. The fogging caused the moisture in the shoe to get really cold while I was out. I tried double-socks to help with the cold feet and to help with the lack of padding in the shoe. Inserts can help too. The only draw back is that I can't tighten them up too much because the rubber pinches at the ankle but the shoe is constructed well enough to keep the shoe from slipping off.

Perfect for showing off interesting socks.A tip: buy a size larger if you want room for some air to circulate inside the boot. Otherwise, the boots tend to fog up from body heat and moisture while wearing and those beautiful socks are lost in a fog.
