Storey Publishing Carrots Love Tomatoes: Secrets of Companion Planting for Successful Gardening

No scientific explanations
A nice book if you believe without enquiring. Comprehensive lists of companions and comparing but without any scientific explanation why things might work.I hadn’t realised the book was written so long ago - first published 1975, it’s age being reflected in the section on double digging. My fault for not reading the blurb properly. If you are interested in why companion planting works. Suggest you look for something more up to date.

Best gardening book I've bought
I haven't put this book down since it arrived. It has some great information on companion planting and is written in a really accessible style. I would love for more in-depth knowledge, but this book is a great book to keep coming back to again and again.
