This was a gift for my God Daughter, who could not skate, but the support you get from the skates are great for beginners. Needless to say, she loves them. The price wasn't so bad either.

my daughter loves dora so I bought this for her 3rd bday! I read all the reviews for the cheaper version and these. I was disappointed on her bday because the skates were to fast and my dad had to put tape around the wheels so she wouldn't fall. Overall my daughter loved it but I just wished the skates had locks on the wheels.

My 3 year old girl enjoys these skates and I was able to take her to the skating rink. They functioned well. She used these skates and did rather well. The size may run rather small....my daughter is wearing a size 7 toddler size and they fit well for now.

These skates are great for children just learning to skate. It is easiest for kids to learn on "walking skates" rather than the lace up ones. My daughter loves these! The second time we took her skating and she was doing it all by herself out in the middle of the floor - no help needed. The only bad thing about these skates is the package says size 6-12, but in all reality it only fits up to a size 10 shoe. At least that is the way it is with my daughter, who now wears a size 10. We bearly get her tennis shoe in these skates - no room to grow.

These skates were great when I initially got them for my 3 year old daughter. She skated all around the house, and at the skating rink. Now that I've had them for a couple of years I've noticed that they don't stand up well to a lot of use. The wheels keep falling off and need to be glued back on. These skates are great for a child to learn how to skate, but once they get proficient I recommend upgrading since these don't stand up well to a lot of wear.
