Worked without programming
Put batteries in and it just worked. I enjoy having a play/pause button. I don't need a sperate controller for the sound either. Works great.

I am trying to avoid buying a smart TV. This remote worked for my old LG TV. Without any programming! I think I bought that TV in 2011 or 2012 lol. Still working! Great product and a great price
